that is a very good thing, rika♥. could you please post the recipe? |
I honestly don't have one I just did random stuff. Basically it was
3 chicken breasts (chop into either strips or cubes or just random sized bits while still partly frozen for easy cutting) some butter 4 garlic cloves (minced) some white wine (I just poured a bit in idk how much it was, maybe 1/3rd of a cup?) a bit of water some lemon zest juice of one lemon dash of black pepper Cook the garlic a little in some butter, then add chicken and wait till its mostly cooked then add the wine/water/pepper and zest/squeeze the lemon in and add more water or butter as needed untill you get the consistency/amount of sauce you think looks good. :) |
that's mostly how i cook, rika♥. it sounds so good. i need more garlic, mine is kinda old and i don't like using old garlic. |
I can't imagine it would tasty as strong. xD
I like to use recipes for the most part, but i still do subsitutions and what not to suit it a bit better to me. I like having some sort of basic how-to to go by. Once I become more comfortable with cooking and have tried lots of things I probably wont mind just tossing my own stuff together more often. :) |
yeah, fresh garlic is the best. i love it and use it in almost everything. i made hotdogs and chili for dinner. it wasn't garlic chicken. how was yours? |
I am making it tonight. :)
|
i hope it turns out well for you, rika♥. |
Cooking it as we speak! I love the smell of garlic.
|
me too, it makes me salavate! onions and garlic is such a win for me. i wish i could smell it through the screen. *sniffs real hard* nope, nothing! [:P] |
The lemon smelled fantastic too, and i made garlic mashed potatoes to go with it. Nom.
|
that sounds so good, rika♥. |
Sadly I cooked the garlic a little too long for the potatoes, but the BF still loved 'em.
|
the only way you can ruin garlic is to burn it, then it gets very bitter tasting. otherwise i can still eat it. i have to see where it's on sale and get some more. have you ever roasted heads of garlic to use like butter, rika♥? [drool] it is so yummie and you don'thave to use much salt to make delicious garlic bread. it's good in mashed potato, too. |
*comes flying in then remembers something* Hey! wait!...... I can't fly after all....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *and crashes down luckly in a pool. Splashing water everywhere.*
|
'i fly, i fly.....no, i fall.' |
hummy - No I have not, but I've seen that done. :)
Haha, hello bellinda. |
*gets done eating a cook pineapple* hiya paprika
|
you should try it, rika♥, it's delicious. |
I will hummy. :)
A cooked pineapple? How did you cook it? |

|
