Summer time is when I start to pick up books again. During the school year I barely have time to read my textbooks, much less "fun time" books xD

And bahaha, I'm all out. I've been wearing my current pair for like a month now :ninja: So bad.

And no problem Iro! I hope you enjoy them, his writing style is amazing. He's satirical, but his plots are still grabbing.

I only read when I bother picking up one of my bf's books....which isn't often. xD

Are the two week lenses? Cause that is pretty bad.....but totally something I would do. xD

:D You'll love it. And the best part is, he has so many books based in the same world that he's created, and sometimes the characters and plots cross over into other books. It's great and so so witty!

Iro: Any kind, really. It just has to be well written, and I don't like being able to tell how the book will turn out within the first few chapters.
I just have trouble finding books that hold my interest.

my eye doctor comments every year how bad they are, and then tells me how they still got worse though. :gonk:

I think my eyes have finished growing so they're going to stay at the ridiculous amount of degrees that they are now. But there was a time when every time I went to the eye doctor, I would go home with my dad yelling at me in the car for not taking care of my eyes.

My mom used to yell at me too. How exactly was I supposed to make sure my eyes didn't get worse? :illgetu:
She doesn't care now since I pay for everything. xD

EXACTLY! Even when I took care to read in bright light, rest my eyes, etc. my eyes would still get worse! And lol nopes...still mooching off of them for contact money. :sweat:

I blame my bad eyes on my mother anyway.
I really hated reading when I was a child, and everyone ASSUMED that it was because I needed reading glasses....because there was apparently no chance a six year old just did not want to read a darn book....
Anyway, my mom/teachers all forced (and I do mean forced) me to wear my reading glasses when I read, and since then my eyes have never been the same.

Now I'm near sighted, all cause no one wanted to listen to a little kid that her eyes were fine and she could read the charts. :talk2hand:
