demi gods? What about them? Are we talking about mythology or something now?

well i kinda watched a movie, which sparked my roleplay interest in roleplaying demi gods in fact ideas are just swimming around in my head :P

ah. interesting. I'm taking a class on mythology right now so I suspect my myth muse will be sparking up soon. But I know what you mean about getting ideas so easily from media. I've been craving something that involves mafia or tight knit gangs because of the tv shows I've been watching.

I like the greek gods I believe with Zeus and Poseidon, etc.

I have favorite stories like the hymn to Demytr, the fall of Icarus, prometheus's story. I don't have favorite gods though.

normally it's not my thing either, but I keep seeing good stories using it and I like the dynamics of the family and the way you're born and trapped into that life forever.

Also, the only mafia thing I have is where one of my OCs goes through something bad and winds up dying one night. Then it's revealed the mafia somehow finds them. There are different outcomes though. So if you want a mafia story, I'm sure we can think of something :P

but that's hardly the important part of the myths.

ah. I've gotten good rps on ernya before though mene is still my favorite place to rp. You could try Syndrone too since there seems to be a decent rper population there.

I'm probably going to sound delusional, but the wheels are turning strangely and quickly in my head. I just figured out how to put myth and mafia into the same story! (like the total weirdo I am).
So let's say the greek gods and such have been continuously reincarnated throughout the years as different people each time since godliness is immortal, yet any physical body they might take would be perishable. It would take place modern day so instead of them all hanging out on mt olympus, the reincarnations have formed a community which to everyone around them seems like that of a mafia. They are an elite family of Gods who rule the world in a very different way now, through...mafia type stuff. Lol, however their god powers ties in I don't know.

I can make my OC male or female, but, tends to be female more. Either way it can be tweaked and changed depending on what we need or want.

Well considering my OC is going to die somehow and the mafia finds her...! Oh! What if there are two humans (or demi humans) that the gods presume are human and they want to pit them against eachother. Zeus and Hades are brothers so they are always against eachother. So what better way to have a new game/battle than to put two others against eachother? Of course it doesn't have to be good or evil, it could just be a dedication thing or maybe Hades mind...mind...oh brainwashes the one on his side?

You're seeing zeus and hades using humans basically as puppets to fight out a battle type deal. Kind of...gladiator like. Two people dedicated to one of the gods being enemies....is that it?

no, I haven't had much sleep lately and have had early morning shifts at work. Plus I have a little girl that is my life and right now she is at her friend's house.

Oh no no, she died along time ago, don't worry about that. That would just be like...if anyone asked about her background, she would say it or it would be described if others wondered why. It's not that relevant to the storyline.

aw. I'd share some of my coolness with you if you share your rain! Though it's rainy season here now, it don't really storm like I like. Mostly it just threatens to rain, then dumps the rain somewhere else.
