Not in the least. If you're going to go through the trouble of actually catching the shark, be a decent enough human being to actually use the entire thing, from meat to bones to teeth, like it used to be done. Simply cutting their fins off then dumping them back overboard is a horrible way for them to die!

Oh, I wouldn't hug a shark, but there's a naturally obvious manner to treat animals. And that isn't one of those manners. Some species have been pushed near extinction because of it.

I'm sure a lot of animals have become extinct because of humans and some of that was natural, but it's not so natural now.

Oh, a variety of animals have become extinct because of humans directly, though I've heard that cats are directly responsible for the extinction of dozens of species... I still love them, though...

oh my. I never heard that fact about cats. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised though. Kitties are such widespread animals too.

They're extremely efficient hunters, of course! And at such a high population level nowadays. But yes, quite a few species have gone extinct because of their hunting.

funny....the only thing my cat ever hunted was out goldfish. rip fishies. Well, the other cat ate the birds and lizards and mice too. or mouse. There weren't many to catch.

Hehe, I didn't forget how much I love Shin, but it really is nice to write him. And it's nice to have an rp where I can write a lot.

I just haven't used Char in... a couple years now. And I have so many abandoned characters I had to open up an orphanage.
And it really is... Its rare to find someone outside my very small circle of RP partners that likes to write so much~!

oh my. I usually lose my muse after a couple years, but I have a few characters that do like to stick around no matter how little I use them. Yeah, all my poor abandoned characters. A lot of my dead rps, I don't care so much about, but I have so many I'm really attached to long after.
I used to prefer smaller posts and sometimes I still do, but maybe because camp nanowrimo wasn't that long ago, I've been really good about posting a lot lately.

Oh, I've got a character I've had for... lord, for so long... My first ever RP character, and I adore him. I'll use him sometimes still, now as supporting or secondary characters.

A have a lot of very casual rps where the long posts are maybe a solid paragraph. My favorite rp we often write a couple lines, but we can do that because we've had it going for two years now.

Well I was about seventeen and a little obsessive with killers. So I made a serial killer character named Lee. He's full-blooded American Indian but his parents had grown apart from their land and nature, and are named relatively English names. He kills rapists, abusers, pedophiles, and general wastes of space.
Ah, I can let slide four-line replies, depending on state and necessity to speak without fluff being added.

that's a rather deadly character. o.o My first char was a mercenary for a Ruroni Kenshin rp. I love serial killers though. About a year ago I created a serial bomber who sets off explosions because he has synetesia(sp?) and the sound/color inspires his art. I got disturbed being in his head.
