Of course theses fraction problems aren't going to write themselves.

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 08:08 PM

wouldn't you normally do that on a calculator though? I didn't think much writing was involved for math, only writing classes.

Bellinda 09-06-2013 08:09 PM

Hmm no that's something we can't used....is on a calculator...which sucks.[headdesk]

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 08:12 PM

I wasn't aware that you could do most fraction problems without a calculator. O.o

Bellinda 09-06-2013 08:15 PM

Yea we can't even used it on the GED test once I am ready for it. So yea there is a lot of thinking.

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 08:20 PM

I think that's just silly. Even the standardized tests to get into college allow some calculators.

Bellinda 09-06-2013 08:26 PM

Don't ask me...that's what I been told by our teacher.

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 08:29 PM

then that really sucks.

Anyone want to see the painting I've been working on?

PapillonCameo 09-06-2013 09:11 PM

I want to see the painting!

And ... it depends on the school districts and language. I learned how to do fractions long hand, or rather written out

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 09:18 PM

woops, I got distracted and I don't have the link saved anymore. lemme go fetch again.

I'm maybe half way done with it. The scene is from my latest novel though.

PapillonCameo 09-06-2013 09:21 PM

Aaawww I wanna read it! That makes me want to read your book so bad.

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 09:25 PM

[blush] really? That is so validating to hear. Actually, I have this silly plan to help self promote my book after I'm ready to publish it. Basically, I want to put together a small book of character and world design images and a few illustrations, then leave the book in public places. Have a note in back to take the book if you want, or leave it for someone who's more interested and have the book purchasing info in the back. If my images really are good enough to pull in an audience, I think it might work.

PapillonCameo 09-06-2013 09:35 PM

*nods* Yes really! And what a great idea!

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 09:38 PM

I'm glad you think so. I just need to put it into action now.

PapillonCameo 09-06-2013 09:40 PM

You should. I'd definitely pick up one of those little booklets.

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 09:44 PM

First I have to write the second half of the novel though! That's the hard part. I'm so laaaazy! *groans*

PapillonCameo 09-06-2013 09:47 PM

Well I haven't even finished one novel yet, so yeah ...

---------- Post added 09-06-2013 at 06:47 PM ----------

Oh, I posted! XD

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 09:57 PM

I don't think I have either. I finished a novella but I think after I edit it, it will be a novel. haha. why are novels so hard to finish?
I see that! :D

PapillonCameo 09-06-2013 09:59 PM

Well a novella's longer then anything I've written!
I'm only just getting into the hang of writing short stories and finishing them.

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 10:02 PM

well, if you can finish a short story, then you can easily graduate to a novella since they're not much longer at all. You can read one in one or two sittings....but of course it takes more than that many sittings to write one!

PapillonCameo 09-06-2013 10:04 PM

Well that's probably gonna be my next goal. XD

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 10:11 PM

small steps up until you can finish a novel.

PapillonCameo 09-06-2013 10:12 PM

Yeah, teeny ones, most definitely teeny ....

Immy 09-06-2013 10:14 PM

hiiiiiiiii

Kat Dakuu 09-06-2013 10:16 PM
