Art classes aren't always easy ... Gah, I used to stay up til crazy hours working on my things, and never got the kind of marks I wanted. It was so discouraging.

hours of work doesn't make it hard though. It doesn't matter if you turn in a jar of menstrual blood. as long as you can explain why you think it's art. it doesn't matter if you don't do shit.

I wish they still make oil paint by numbers I had done a set. but I had to be careful cause I did not. want to miss the color's up when they where still wet.

oil paint is a tricky thing. technically it never dries is what a teacher told me, but it dries to our standards. it's a chemical reaction though.

That must have stank ... And please, A cow cut in half in two different containers of formaldehyde is considered art, so yeah, very believable.

technically she hasn't brought it to class yet, but she is collecting it for a project. I hope I graduate before she decides to show that project. and yeah...Damien Hurst....

The oil paints I used did not stink at all but some how it look like it was dried. I gave the painting's away to some family members. I don't get to see all that often as a gift to them when they came to visit. I must say your avatar look's quite lovely Papillon-Chan.

oil paint itself doesn't smell that weird. most of what you use as a medium to water it done is pretty nasty stuff though like odorless mineral spirits. but that stuff wouldn't be in a paint by number. I have one of those of dolphins that I never did. I never did paint in the lines very well.

When ever I did any paint by number sets I take my time. I try do it nice and slowly so I don't go out of the lines. if I do I would fuss at my self yet knew the other paint would cover it up. but the paint thinner that stuff had a soft yet odd smell to it.
