my cat was very ungrateful. She didn't eat much and then started meowing for me to let her back outside and wouldn't leave me alone. Someone may have already let her in for lunch since I slept in late. But she was meowing her head off to be let in! Brat.

I never have been able to get along with dogs. I'm a cat person through and through.

I don't like big dogs. My dad has two dogs that are both over 100 pounds, and I'm like Lord No.

I want a tiny cottonball-puff of a dog. v.v

I grew up very scared of dogs. No reason really. That's just how I was. Large dogs still scare me. Small to medium is best but too small and they irritate me. The high pitched bark is a noise I can't stand or that kind of hyperactive energy they often have.

I want like...a little Scottie, or a Skye Terrier. They're not Pompoms, but they aren't like...lab-size either. A nice in-between medium and small. v.v

I'm a bit scared of large dogs but it deepens on the breed.

scotties aren't that small. My friend had two of them. I would prefer a lap dog to a terrier breed.

I know they aren't. But they're really decently sized, for me. At least from the two I've seen, but then they were younger dogs, and may not have been full grown. Aren't they like, cocker-spaniel sized?

Are there other things that might be "rewards" for countries?

I know that some people like researchers and scientists don't care about their birth country and hire themselves out to the highest paying person. Maybe the best teachers and researchers could have done that. Joined an organization that has relinquished their past and heritage for becoming assets. They get benefits or something for doing this and then belong to whichever country earned them via the program?

There could be an electronic medical system with androids who administer healthcare. Their base could be a station floating around the earth via orbit. Every country gets the most basic of healthcare. The countries who have earned it get faster or better healthcare for more of their people.

Just ideas... I want this to be integrated into how they live. So that the necessity for fixing the virus and catching the hackers is more urgent.

I think when it comes to the program's importance, it would have affected, over the years, almost every aspect of life. Like your idea for the research, and the medical staff. I think the program has been around for some time. Maybe the people who created the virus are trying to return the world to a 'more natural' state of affairs, like it is 'today'.

As we go along, I'm sure we'll probably decide and explore the program in depth, getting to know it as it affects our characters.

I was going to call it WMXI, short for WarMachine XI, the eleventh edition of it (since we can assume it's been in use a while, I'm sure it's been tweaked over the years. Eleven is just a random number I chose).

haha, it is just that I was on a different page than you two earlier... so am just wanting to make sure that we are all on similar ground... also, kind of need an idea of the world/culture/problem before I can write effectively

erm... sure... I have no problem with that...

yeah, I know there's a lot of stuff to get to know about the world. I think for now though, we can just write. there will inevitably be more questions for later.
