Such a job does not exist and I'm apparently not allowed to exclusively chase after my dreams.

Which is sad ... I kind of feel like I'm in a similar situation. I tried to explain how stressed out about possibly getting the job, and she didn't get it

I've heard a lot of lectors from my dad. Of course I want to move out and have my own income, but I don't want to just move to a different sort of miserable.

I started getting lectures even before I graduated. You're lucky. Some days I dread the weekends because I have to spend dinner at the same table as my dad and we don't ever talk about things besides baseball and me and my brother's stumbles through life.

It helps that my mom is quite creative, and is a music teacher.

Even if my parents more or less accept and support my interests, it's not even close to an option to just do that for a living. Reasonable for sure. Very people support themselves that way. My dad always says no no really likes their job. They wouldn't pay you to do it if that were the case.

Of course the ones who have the jobs they like are the ones who are brave enough to go for it, or gutsy enough .. I unno it just seems that way to me

I think everyone hates the day to day at least half the time though. More of...living for the good moments.

I'm staying inside plus I got a old dog. that is sacred to death of fire works so I'll have to keep a eye on her. the poor dear was all ready under my computer desk once all ready tonight.

I have no idea where my cat is now. She was content sleeping under the piano when the fireworks started, but she has since gone into hiding.
