Hello everyone I hope you are all doing well today

Kat Dakuu 07-16-2014 11:45 PM

I don't like to control my fiction.

Its pretty alright for me. How are you star?

PapillonCameo 07-16-2014 11:49 PM

lol I'm just not all that good at following plans

Kat Dakuu 07-17-2014 12:07 AM

I'm bad at making the plans in the first place!

sailor star rainbow 07-17-2014 12:20 AM

I'm doing fine today I went out hobby lobby with my mom. but I can say I'm okay with planing some stuff. but when it comes to go to the animecon I go to once a year. thank goodness for the guide book. I use to have to look in the pamphlet running around get to a panel.

PapillonCameo 07-17-2014 02:44 AM

Hi Star. *waves*

Kat- I make plans than ... I go in a completely different direction.
Oh and .. I answered the rp. Do we have any plans for that, actually?

Kat Dakuu 07-17-2014 02:46 AM

Ah I still need to read your post. Indeed...where are we going?

PapillonCameo 07-17-2014 02:49 AM

Well my character wants to find a cure for his curse... So I plan on having him start searching through the forest for it. He could maybe find something? Something related to this guy Reichet keeps mentioning?

Kat Dakuu 07-17-2014 02:51 AM

I'm not sure what to do with this past love thing. Seems like the lake water could give birth to some special plants though...since it's special or something.

PapillonCameo 07-17-2014 02:52 AM

Well .... I already know what 'fruit' breaks the curse, it's just going to take some time for it to be revealed since it needs certain conditions before it can freeze time.

Kat Dakuu 07-17-2014 02:53 AM

You already know your fruit? Why is it in air quotes?! I want to know!!

PapillonCameo 07-17-2014 02:56 AM

Because, it isn't actually a fruit. It's a heart filled with love. The freezing time bit is actually a moment that seems to go on forever because it's so special.

Kat Dakuu 07-17-2014 02:57 AM

Metaphoric fruit then. Interesting. Might take a while to find that fruit...

PapillonCameo 07-17-2014 02:59 AM

Yeah, well in most fairy tales, finding what breaks a curse is never easy. And more often then not is a metaphore of some kind.
And I was kind of planning on that.

Kat Dakuu 07-17-2014 03:17 AM

Indeed. I like fairy tales though I don't focus on the love based ones.

PapillonCameo 07-17-2014 03:25 AM

Well I love all fairy tales, and Beauty and the Beast is my favorite

Kat Dakuu 07-17-2014 03:28 AM

I like beauty and the beast a lot...but also the opposite, Bluebeard. Have you read other beauty in the beast type stories? Like the swan maiden or the frog princess?

PapillonCameo 07-17-2014 03:32 AM

Swan Maiden? One version of it I think, and the frog princess? Do you mean The Princess and The Frog ?
I've read Bluebeard, and the original version of Cinderella, where the stepsisters cut of their heels and toes to fit into the shoes.

And originally the prince in Rapunzel was blinded.

Sleeping Beauty has a dark side as well ..

Kat Dakuu 07-17-2014 03:35 AM

In this book it's simply titled the frog princess. It's in a collection called the classic fairy tales edited by maria Tatar. Honestly I don't know a lot of fairytale s outside of it though.

PapillonCameo 07-17-2014 03:45 AM

I know a whole bunch, but I can't remember all the names.

Kat Dakuu 07-17-2014 03:58 AM

I studied stuff for one of my classes.

PapillonCameo 07-17-2014 04:05 AM

I just read the cause I like them.

There's one about this girl whose stepmother curses her eleven brothers to become swans. She needs to remain silent and make 11 shirts with this impossible plant to break the curse.

Kat Dakuu 07-17-2014 05:16 AM

I lost this oops.

Sounds familiar. I wonder if you mentioned that story before or if I read it.

PapillonCameo 07-17-2014 05:18 AM

You probably read it somewhere, never talked about it before

Kat Dakuu 07-17-2014 05:21 AM

Interesting. I don't have good memories of it though. I guess someone could have mentioned it to me in class without me having read it.
