lol, that might be the next day... after breakfast ;) Let me paint for you the hideout a little bit better.
First is the shopping area along the edge of the boardwalk... somewhat like this... and where Belle would like to show Katie for breakfast at the cute little cafe...
Then the main beach area where the tourists are all at... and the current location of our characters... lots among people
only it is night time so there are fire dancers and other entertainers out there trying to get money from those visiting... here is a beautiful link of such :)

About a mile or two away, is a more secluded area away from the tourism section of the city and a bit more rural without really any buildings. Somewhat like the picture below, though maybe not so grand. A bit smaller but with a good place at the top that is secluded and out of site. The place they stay is a large circle with indentations into the sides that make the "walls" around it naturally. So they have protection from rain and wind if they are in the right spot.
They feel safe here, even though safety is an illusion and I'm pretty sure Jackal knows about it. But he hasn't ever really been out there so the group feels safe even though they know it is an illusion.
