no... they really aren't. i took psych and soch. and the people in both are just shrinks. i mean.. yeah they're diffrent areas of study... but not enough to change the shrinky factor.

Mmm, I don't really see them as being both towards being shrinks... but that's just me.

My issue is is that people who've graduated all think that they're better than everyone else and that's what I hate. -.- Graduating doesn't make you a better person.

Well it is how I feel... -.- And I'm so sick of people talking down to me like I'm stupid and brain damaged. Or something like that. *sighs* :/ And I even got told "If you don't know what you want to do, then why did you choose that major?" *screams* Omg... -.- D:

I get a lot of grief because I got an art degree, but I don't want to be an artist. People ask me what I want to do and for the last few years of college, I seriously couldn't say anything because I had no answer. Now I say, "I want to write books". Then I get a funny look.

When people say "...well why did you even bother with that major?" It just makes me either want to, throw things at them... or just give up... Because they're right, there is no point to this major... -.- :/

I am going to get more writing done today.
Though I think chapter 1 is gonna end up being more than 3k words.

hey seito! your prize from the other thread has confused the crap out of me. and i'm pretty upset... i KNOW i had the male top (or i think it was male. which is what i went to double check to see if was putting the new female top with it or in my extra drawer) and now I've searched every single item in my inventory. and the one i had before is GONE. completely gone :[ i'm really upset. and was super excited moments ago seeing the trade.

Cloud whatever degree you wanted is up to you. not everyone else. I get really odd looks when i say i went to school for architecture and say I changed to an art degree but plan to be an author and a stay at home mother.
I didn't go to school because i wanted a degree that would get me the best job in the world. In fact, I knew it was unlikely I'd even find a decent job in the field I want because of how insane things are in the world. BUT I went for the degree because that is what I wanted. I wanted the education. I was interested in those subjects.
I dropped Architecture, not because I couldn't do it, or "had my eyes opened to reality." I dropped it because they were teaching the things I wasn't interested in. I wanted to do residential. And all they were teaching was commercial because "that's where the money is."
So I switched to art and was told it was a stupid decision and I'm an idiot because there is no jobs in art. Which of course isn't true... It's just a field with a surplus of supply.

Whatever field you went to college for I'm sure you had your own reasons.

Still, you should be proud of writing that long of a chapter.
I am just trying to figure out what to write and how this chapter should

I think every paragraph is a rut and than somehow i write more.. i don't even know where this story is coming from right now. it's just kinda flowing outta my brain through my fingertips into the keyboard.

and apparantly chap 1 8k roughly
chapter 2 6k roughly

and i just started chapter 3 and am trying to figure out where to go from there. or if i should have pust something else into chapter 2.
but..

I REALLY wish my husband would read it so i could get a critique from a none writer. cause if he reads it and it catches his attention than i'm doing something right. He has really bad dyslexia and struggles through every book. But if its good he works his way through(tamora pierce, harry potter for example)

I use to be like that but now I am stumped what to do.
Like, I have ideas, just not ideas I really love to where it gives me chills.

I can't seem to get past chapter 1. And the site it is on, everyone keeps commenting on my profile to read it and i read theirs so I am like "You guys..have the WORST timing right now."

wait... that they want to read yours? Or what. i'm confused? what's the worst timing?

and i have to many ideas... this is just my first story i'm actually sitting down to write... but i've developed hundreds of worlds... many of them dungeons and dragons based admittedly... but i still love them all. and i'm sure i'd hate them the minute i actually wrote it cause i think everything i do is crap.

and i'd ask you to read mine... but.. i think its crap. xD and also don't want to distract you from yours. Though if i knew how to help i would. all i can say is write something even if its "i think i'm gonna do something like this here. I want this type of scene to happen buuuuuut i'm not quite sure how to get there."
