(Silenia too originated as a character, though it has long since ceased to be a character and instead became as much my own name/identity as my birthname. Enough so that I once nearly signed an official document as Silenia and that back in school I repeatedly had had to cross "Silenia" off the name-field on tests and actually write my birth-name )

I am the same way. Kat was an alter ego deal at first and became her own unique character. She's from an rp where I was in virtual reality. People started calling me by that nickname and now Kat is what I go by IRL. It's short for my full name anyway.

Ah. Silenia is nowhere near my own birth name, but it identifies me at least as much as my birth name does.

That's cool. My parents call me Kate so my alter ego is only one letter off.

Yeah, that's quite close. "Silenia" and my real first name have two shared letters, but neither are in the right position.

I spent the day down at Galveston. We went to moody gardens and saw the aquarium and the rainforest exhibit. I've always like the rainforest one. It's very cool!
