I have to agree with you on that Kat. heck next month it will be time for my animecon that I got to once a year.

Kat Dakuu 06-02-2015 01:31 AM

Nice. I bet that will be fun.

sailor star rainbow 06-02-2015 02:09 AM

Oh it will be a ton's of fun. never know what I'll find in the dealers room. so that is part of my fun right there. the cosplay contest is fun to watch. even just going to planes can be a blast. especially since are cosplay contest host is funny as can be. each year he has his own panel it's normal 18 and older. oh the story's he tell us will make us laugh pretty loudly.

Kat Dakuu 06-02-2015 02:10 AM

I've never been to an anime con. It sounds like so much fun. I like the idea of cosplay and some people are so great at it. I like to see good cosplays.

sailor star rainbow 06-02-2015 02:46 AM

I hope you can go one someday then

Kat Dakuu 06-02-2015 02:51 AM

Yeah. I definitely don't want to go alone though so that's a bugger.

bluerockman 06-02-2015 03:15 AM

I kept hearing that going to a con alone is rather depressing.

Kat Dakuu 06-02-2015 03:20 AM

It seems like a social thing and more fun to share (and possibly steal a ride from haha). I hate driving and get lost easily.

sailor star rainbow 06-02-2015 03:25 AM

Just bring some friends with you are,try make some friends. at the con I have done that for years. sometimes if you're lucky the con will have a website. plus there own forums you can catch with other on it.

Kat Dakuu 06-02-2015 03:27 AM

It sounds lovely, but I don't meet people well so I'd have to take a friend. I've never had a schedule that allowed for it and haven't managed to meet up with people that would go. Oh well. I can live without. I'd rather go to Ren Faire.

bluerockman 06-02-2015 03:45 AM

I'm too much of a wallflower. [:o]

Kat Dakuu 06-02-2015 03:48 AM

Me too! *high five*

I mean, I can handle a small shop of gamers. But a place like a con... well... it's a much bigger crowd. O_O!!!!

Kat Dakuu 06-02-2015 03:52 AM

Yeah. That's why I need to drag someone I know with me.

MousyGrrl 06-02-2015 06:07 AM

There's a handful of people I never see unless I'm at a con. They're usually the people I hang out with the whole time I'm at the con.

Kat Dakuu 06-02-2015 04:40 PM

That sounds like fun.

bluerockman 06-02-2015 08:23 PM

I know there's peeps I never see unless I'm at my gaming day at the local comic shop. Sure, they're pretty cool, but hard to say I actually know them in any substantive way. [:o]

Kat Dakuu 06-02-2015 08:26 PM

yeah, that makes sense.

bluerockman 06-02-2015 08:41 PM

Maybe I'm overly pragmatic and/or cautious, though. [:o]

Kat Dakuu 06-02-2015 09:28 PM

Maybe. I think only you can judge that though.

bluerockman 06-02-2015 11:26 PM

Indeed. On the other hand, we can always just talk on one avenue or another.

sailor star rainbow 06-03-2015 12:19 AM

I wish there was more comic shops near me. there is only one in all of Baton Rouge which really bite's.

Kat Dakuu 06-03-2015 12:33 AM

I've never been to a comic shop.

sailor star rainbow 06-03-2015 12:56 AM

There's a few in my area. Two off the top of my head. Then a couple more in another area I frequent. The area, not the shops. Seems the East Coast is a good area in general for comic shops.
