yes. My cat confuses me like that too. I think I hear him walk into my room but he's sleeping in the bathroom.

well i thought i heard my cat scratching in my room at the wall like he was trapped. my bedroom door was wide open and the stinking cat was outside.

Cats be trolls like that in the first place though. They would claw like they're trapped even if the door was open. Maybe you just heard him outside.

I think a lot of it is that we expect to hear it, so our brain makes us hear it. This is similar to hearing your phone ring or vibrate when you didn't get a message.

yep. Minds are tricky. Though I've realized that my brother leaves his phone on the bathroom counter when he showers and my room is next to the bathroom. When it vibrates, the sound caries so it sounds like it's my phone. Confuses me every time.

idk. its a 2 story house and sounds don't carry as far as you'd expect. it may have been a trick of my ear brain though.

Sounds are weird in that some spots don't carry at all and others carry very well. Have you been in one of those caves with acoustic anomalies like that?

not that i can recall... but i know that this one cave had this awesome water hole thingy that looked like it was maybe a foot deep and that you'd be able to reach in and touch bottom with your hand. But when you threw a penny in it toook soooooooooooo long to sink that it had to be like 20 feet deep. it was insane!

I'm trying to decide if I want to just work on my old story and maybe buff up those characters. Or if I want to do some kind of journal like story (cause i'm in love with journal style stories) and test out my skill with it cause i haven't really done it before.
What do you guys suggest? cause i want to start laying out some characters/ world building here soon :/

yeah. I mean, you can start the actual writing whenever you want though and just not count that. Do you want to start writing now?

kind of yeah. But also kind of no. its really frustrating at the moment cause i'm in that. am i moving or not phase. should i be packing or not. What can i safely leave out still . what should i just pack up. should i get started on this or am i going to have to pack it up in the middle of doing it. yada yada.

And that's pretty tough but sometimes it's easier to follow inspiration when you have it even if you can't for long. Better than always putting it aside.

Sorry I did not notice your question before Shadami. I have to agree with Kat-chan write what ever you like are even. makes you happy you never know. what can come out of it till you try.

On a other note I have been busy a little on Saturdays. been taking my puppy to training class.

How's the training going?

Pretty good Coco now knows Lay down,Leave it,Take and Drop it. but it did take him a while get lay down right at the store.

I see. It's always nice to train your pets though. So much more manageable that way.

I picked up some world building references today and decided to work on that. and see what comes out of it. I have the general character i know I want to develop. and the basic world i want him in. But nothing past that. no real story line. No side characters. no plot. ^^;; basically his age and his family. which... since he's an immortal is pretty exstensive.

I want to stick him on a planet away from his family.. some world filled with magics. theivery. dungeons and dragons fantasy like setting with a tamora pierce flare to the magic in it. But obviously NOT tamora pierce's worlds.

Aw that sound inserting and my mom got some tiger finch's today. never tough she would get birds.

What is a tiger finch o.o it sounds like it would be cute. i must look this up.
