I am feeling lazy so Im just gonna copy what i wrote for description lol.

Shadami - Not being able to survive on minimum wage is a reasonable thing. It's when you're $5+ over minimum wage and you still can't get a place that it gets ridiculous. It should be possible for 2 people working minimum wage to live comfortably... but sadly that's simply scraping the bottom of the rental group.

In this current world, the best way to get a job is through trade schools. You essentially finish the class with work experience.

well minimum wage was MADE so that you could survive on it. But the commercial businesses that control our lives took that as a "hey! we can raise prices" and keep doing so -.-

How do I give you a billion likes? Seriously, because I 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000% agree, especially considering looking up the history to see that's how it even was conceived to begin with.

yup. which is why i'm so P.O.ed at everything right now. cause we have 1 job at above minimum wage. but by like... a dollar. and 2 kids. and no one willing to help us. and i can't just pay for a babysitter cause we'd be even worse off so I can't get a job to try to get us out of this Flipping hole. and it makes sense why so many people flipping gamble. cause HOW THE HELL ELSE are they going to get out.

if money wasn't absolutely precious to make sure my kids have food on the table and a roof over their heads, and diapers on their butts (we're still working on potty training.sigh) .. .oh and it wasn't against my religion. i'd go to the casino RIGHT NOW. and learn how to gamble. cause i'm sick and sick and SICK of this trap the people with money in their pockets keep us trapped in. No matter how hard we flipping work.

i need food -.- I'm getting mad again.

What's worse is that society at large has internalized that very trap. It's really a sad thing to witness around us.

Sounds interesting. I'm glad you got something finished.

The biggest problem though is that people think paying people minimum wage will fix anything. It wont. Prices go up when minimum wage does.

Well Shadami... sorry to break it to you but the gambling centers are rigged.
I think the best route is to put say a set amount of money in an account every paycheck. Don't touch it. Ever. Make it small enough that you wont miss it but big enough to make a difference. Just keep doing it and eventually you'll have money set aside for a goal.

I've felt crummy today so I haven't written a whole lot today.

And POV means Point Of View.

Fuu: I'm the same. Cramping so I haven't done anything today.

yeah, but what does that mean in context? What/whose pov? All writing has a point of view.

And i was gonna start on an art piece for my Bf's b-day..which is in..fudge..two days!?

lol. the problem about hand-made bday presents is they need to be made.... x.x

hmkay. so a pov switch. I usually switch by chapter or write multiple pov's in the first place since a single one is usually too limiting.

That's a brilliant idea! To switch with each chapter.
I actually did not think about a POV until someone read my story and asked if the investigator will have a POV chapter.

then i started thinking and was like "yeah totally."

I had work yesterday and today so I was kept busy. besides that the other day I got my boy his first grooming. over at the local pet smart,he did good he only got sacred when they did his nails. now his baby fur is gone but on a other note. I was lucky today he was outside before work. in the back yard lucky me I closed the baby gate. so I would not have to chase him before I left for once.

Well that's good, fuu. It sounds like you'll both enjoy the effort.

Its great to do. Even just one chapter that slips to the other side of the story can be really impactful. Not always something that works, but a thing to play with.

i know gambling places are rigged. my husband works for one and knows the inner workings.

Except his will be a whale cause he loves whales and Mine is going to be a unicorn.
Cause I love unicorns. Or a kitty. whichever I can draw better. XDD
And the background of this piece will be of a galaxy.
I know that's strange. But we both love science so yeah.

It still sounds like a great idea. I might switch off between Talissa and the investigator's POV since they actually have a lot of history together.

I had today and tomorrow off so happy. that I got to sleep in it felt so good.
