It's been like that since the first day we reopened. It's only getting worse and more and more people start coming to starbucks again. We're swamped from open to close.

I guess it just goes to show how much people like their coffee.

I just wish things would be really normal again. I don't like people enough for this.

Hopefully things will get better soon. I mean ... Well does it take long for things to be normal again after something like that happens?

Well, they're calling this a 100 yr storm so I can't really say. After the tax day flooding two years ago, it was not such a big deal as soon as flood waters were out of the streets around us. Nothing to this degree has ever really happened before.

So it might end up taking a little bit then, then again is the infrastructure pretty good for dealing with this kind of stuff?

Relatively yes. The city is recovering just fine. It's just everything else that is a mess.

haha yeah. We gave up today and closed the store at 1pm. I am off tomorrow so I plan to actually do stuff.

Sadly my weekend is coming to close, then it's back to work. Though really, I'm just so grateful to have a job!

Indeed. But you get weekends though, huh? That's always a nice thing to have.

Just for now, it'll be changing soon, then changing again .. But that last time should be my schedule for the next six months, so it's all good.

Good grief Kat and I would love to have a new job. but ssi is bunch of jerks in my state.

I get to choose my schedule for after this three weeks, and that'll be for three weeks, and it's a bit all over the map to be honest.

Kat - lol, I suppose not. I mean, I do know what's coming up for the next while after all, so I can plan around it.

Star - My Monday went quite well, pretty quick actually.

Mine was good I got out of the house want to sam's club. get stuff encase we stay if the hurricane hits us. then to petsmart look for pet taxis. they where over price,after that to walmart. got stuff over their plus a portable dvd player. my step dad stole are old one I hope that thing is dead.

Last stop was world market I got a few things. dutch chocolate sprinkles they are so yummy. I grew up on them as kid I blame my parents and grand papa. most people think its odd. to have toast with butter and sprinkles for breakfast.

People think it's odd to have toast with butter, molasses and cheese, or just molasses and cheese ... But I think it's the yummiest!

I can say I never have had molasses in my hole life. but what kind of cheese? I'm a picky about my cheese.

Cheddar, or mozarella.

Aw okay and good grief if I ever buy more. Dream bones for my dog I'm looking for coupons.

You could always make your own dog treats. There are some pretty good recipes out there.
