I've gone back and forth over the years, too. I started out writing original fiction as soon as I learned how to read. I thought I invented fanfiction when I started writing it in middle school. ha ha ha I wrote more original than fanfiction until recently, but always did some of each. Right now I'm just so into FFXV I can't think of anything else. *.*

I write most of my fanfiction for games, yes. I've written a couple fics for The Mortal Instruments book series and also a lot for Jem, an 80s cartoon series I worship and adore. There are TV shows I love that I'd like to write for, but I find it really difficult to write "real people" as opposed to cartoon and game characters. I'm not sure why that is. Maybe I feel animated people are easier to "get in character," whereas I have a harder time judging when a person on a TV show might do in certain situations.

I only played a little of FFIX and FFXII. The older ones are my favorites, VI and IV in particular. X and XV are high on my list, too. I just completed XIII and I pretty much hated it. I'm playing XIII-2 now and not liking it any better. They're just tedious and boring and I hate the combat system.

What fandoms do you write for?

Neat. I started with original fiction as well. Some of my first rps in high school were fandom based, but that was never my thing. We didn't do them well and I preferred original. I didn't really get into reading and writing fanfiction until college. But yeah, a new fandom can bring out that obsession.

I get that. I've read live action type tv shows in fics, but rarely written it. That might be partly the style as tv show characters and comic types are portrayed differently in media. Or something like that. >.>

I don't think I've ever completed a FF game myself. X is pretty good and I probably got farthest in it. I prefer hack and slash for actually playing though. I got stuck in XII (like waaay in the beginning) so I watched a video of all the cut scenes instead. I was doing that for XIII as well, but it's really long. I heard the game play was not good, but the story was intriguing. Just a little repetitive. That might be because I was watching cut scenes with no gaming to cut it up though.

When I got really into it, I wrote Hetalia fics. It's mostly been animes. I'm kinda into One Piece right now and I've rped a few other things. Hetalia is the only thing I've posted completed online though. Never quite finished anything else. Short attention span and all.

I like to read fanfics but don't make them. on a other note hope everyone had a nice weekend.

aaah, I don't know why but I'm really craving group rps. I have a lot of things I want to write so I'm hoping some people will be interested in my ideas. *sigh* But it never seems groups get off the groups anymore.

Heck I miss group rps but they are so hard to keep going. are to get them started here on mene. I had better luck with group rp's on gaia in the past. only saying is all.

I think in general that group rps were better in the past no matter where you did it. There's just less drive for it or something. I can't find them doing well on any site. Ah, but I still want to start one. A wolf pack would be nice...

Aw at last for you sometimes its hot in the day here. then cool at night it can be crazy at times. mostly early fall over here and sorry if I bugged yeah with the ping then.

It's alright. I'm really looking forward to summer being over though. I hate being cold, but I'm sick of being hot too.

I have to agree with you I can't stand being cold. I'll just curl up in my bed to stay warm in the winter. but as for summer heat it is horrible here at times. sometimes it will not rain for a week are two. then the blasted rain comes pouring down like non stop for a few weeks. lols I love my crazy state

The weather here is very similar. My cat is a nice bedmate in winter though.

My old would use to snuggle up close to my side in winter. Coco boy will lay by side are sometimes. if he feels like it when I'm on my side he'll lay his body against my back. that makes me warm really quickly due to so much fur he has.

Pedro really likes to snuggle when I sleep and it's cute, but troublesome. He's in the way and warm. Honestly, it's much nicer to snuggle in the winter.

Oh I agree and fully dogs can be good foot rugs. my mom's dog Levi loves it when I rub my feet on his furry. back,upper tummy area he is not a foot freak like my boy is. lols
