Kat it is so good to talk with you again! I'm glad to hear you are doing well. I'm also doing good. Working has been my life. Oh and biggest change ever since last here... I got married! That said, my husband doesn't seem interested in roleplaying so I can't seem to talk him into joining me on here. That is okay, he has hobbies he enjoys as well. How is the weather treating you? Baton Rouge sounds like a cool place. Never been or know anything about it, but Hollywood makes anything with that name sound exciting. I'm sorry they were rude. It most likely was their fault. Same here, I was so shocked when I first came back and there was barely anyone online at all. The whole place just seemed dead and it took me a while of poking around the threads to figure out what had happened. I really hope the site picks back up again someday, and that Inso comes back and irons out all the bugs and such.

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, since I don't often make colorful avatars if my closet (where I collect my more pretty outfits) is anything to go by. The dango and the candies on my hat are edible and sadly I don't have a candy house to rival a wicked witch. But then again it's probably for the better; imagine all the ants that would draw!

I have a new laptop so I don't know if it is it or this new server, but the multi items don't work. Is this normal? Do you have trouble with yours? I wanted to put on stockings on my avatar but nothing happened. It will not even show the options inside the multi icon.

Well after we finish there we went to the mall. grab a bite to eat and look at a store called box lunch. its nice for a new store but pricey. also Maiden yeah that has been going on for a while now. for some user's the multi items won't work and for others it will.

A gingerbread house sounds nice, though I'd probably end up eating my own house.

And yeah the multi-equip is borked. There's a getaround that works for some and doesn't for others; if you're on Chrome (I don't know about the other browsers), you can disable the little shield logo to the right of the url bar and enable unsafe coding, then a lot of things on the site will work again. I can equip multi-equip items that way, though it still sometimes take more than a single click to get the poses tab to show up.

Oh wow, okay I can give it a try, maybe, like safe versions a lot. This leads to another question. Why did the server change? When I left, I had an addiction to buying with real money the monthly items and rationalized dropping several hundred dollars as a good thing because they could afford to hire a coder for events. One that never happened and two I realized I had a spending problem. So left. But there was other people buying those items too so they couldn't have been short on money. So I'm curious, what were the reasons they had?

My sleep was interrupted by a flash flood warning around 1am last night so I'm still a bit groggy now and not feeling like going to the grocery store. I really need food though. The weather had been good, but now it's rain storm time apparently.

That you Kat! He is truly the sweetest. My birthday is coming up here in a week and he let me open my gift early. A Homedics Shiatsu massage chair. Do to my medical history and current desk job, my lower back is easily distressed. So it was the perfect gift. No more massage therapists! Will save us both quite a bit of money, and hopefully less visits to the chiropractor :D He thinks of everything.

I drove, but I had just gotten a Fruit Punch version of Jumpstart so I think I was the better choice to drive lol. Oh caffeine! One is never to much of an adult for these :D

I think the codes are only unsafe because they're older codes so it triggers the shield thing to block them. The server move was something about server stability and security I think? There's a thread about it by Inso: https://www.menewsha.com/forum/showthread.php?t=220911

I think Mene's always been short on money, Inso has mentioned before that he doesn't make money on Mene and is instead spending a lot of money on it, and I think he and Yan are the only coders.

Oh okay, that makes sense. It is kind of them to keep it running. With less people here, it would mean less contributing to the cost of the site's expenses as well.

Oh no! Why? It would be nice to have that stream of newbies flowing in. Some stay and some don't, but those that you interact with really add a nice vibe. Makes it feel like a tourist attraction with local town flair.

The weather has gotten cold lately over here. Saturday it rained on en off all day long, but today its has been pretty cold.

Yeah, the weather got a lot cooler since yesterday. Had to wear a thicker coat when driving to class today.

The weather has been cold for several days. Today it dropped. Not too happy about that. As soon as my husband went to work, I kicked the temperature up inside.

We don't have heaters (or at least, not built-in ones) since it doesn't get that cold here, but I'll probably be very happy when I can get home and burrow into the blankets tonight. The AC is on way too low in the classroom today so my hands are all cold despite me wearing my jacket.

Yeah, hands tend to get cold quickly. Especially in classroom settings or office settings. Are you a student or a teacher? That is pretty lucky to be in such an environment where heaters are not as needed. This morning I woke up and it was 18 F... not just ice outside but mind numbing too.

Oh by the way Maiden congrats on getting married and also happy early birthday.

My mom had buy a new pair of leather gloves this year. since my naughty dog destroyed one last year. he is still 2 right now will be 3 years old on Christmas day.

Student at the moment, I'm taking a vocational course since I'm jobless and might as well do something with my time while I recuperate. The class ends on the 14th though so it'll be back to looking for jobs...

It's generally around 25 degrees Celsius these days I think, though the lowest temperatures of the day could reach 17 or 18 I think. So no need of heaters anywhere except high up in the mountains. Downside(?) is that just about everyone I know is super sensitive to the cold and they'd be freezing even when it's nowhere near ice temperatures yet. I'm already one of the better ones but I still feel cold even at 23 degrees.
