As per usual, my username is taken from one of my characters. I wanted something really different on Gaia though since I didn't intend to have everyone and their mom know it was me. Just people I chose to tell.

Finishing stories is too hard. I don't understand how some writers churn out hundreds of them in a lifetime.

Yeah ... I'm thinking of extremely prolific romance writers especially.

Riiiight? Especially since that's my genre of choice. I can come up with and write a lot of stories, but I rarely finish and most of them are garbage. Editing and all that too? Meeeeh.

And then there are serial thriller writers who also seem to have so many books.

And then you've got me, this aspiring author who's got too many stories in her head to get down on paper XP

I write so much fanfiction too but I'm also that person who thinks it's totally valid to turn all of them into original fiction later. I will be writing a fic and thinking, 'this is nice. I think if I tried to publish this, it might fly.'

I have too many story ideas I need to finish, or decide to completely dismiss. All of them original fiction, because I just love creating my own worlds...

Honestly, I've never tried writing fanfiction

I like to ask the 'what if' and create an entire story built upon the stepping stone of something that already exists. I usually write canon characters in modern stories, especially if it's something all tragic and angsty like Attack on Titan or The Untamed. It's a bit easier to use the skeleton of something rather than building it all from scratch.

A modern Untamed sounds absolutely amazing ...
