I have film coming out of the processor right now...which I have to scan after it is out and then print. So I will disappear for a bit.

I got busy. Someone came in with a large print to print order. Then people came in looking for film. So...I am all caught up on work....although...I can start tearing down the film processor.

Yes...I was at work...
It was very, very slow. I was on my iPad. I was there all by my lonesome...which is why I was able to get online. XD
Now the place I work at tomorrow...I won't be able to get online at all.

OH okay. I don't like being on mene on my tablet.

I don't mind being on Mene on my iPad...since the other site I am really, really active on doesn't play nice with an iPad...or any other tablet for that matter to my knowledge.

Hubby told me something today that I found really disturbing.

He said that he read that it was really BAD to give cats dry cat food.

The reason is because cats are really desert-type animals, and they don't have a good thirst reflex. They are used to getting most of their moisture from the food they eat (like the blood, etc of the critters they capture). So when they eat dry cat food, they don't necessarily drink enough water, and then then tend to get dehydrated.

That's why cats tend to have so many urinary tract problems.

Yep. You can still give them dry, but also give them wet...or mix the two together...or wet the dry cat food.
We can't get Loki to eat wet food. Because his previous owner only gives her cats dry food. So he's five months old and has never had wet food.

huh that's strange. i've never heard that before. my cats get poopy on wet food.

We had to quit giving my other cat dry food because she would binge on it and get sick. So she was purely wet food...and then like chicken, fish, turkey...stuff of that nature because she started throwing up treats too.

huh. i wonder if that's what is wrong with my mom's cat Sam. He'll eat and eat and eat dry food then throw it up.

Possibly. Or something is wrong with him. Could be either.

I think he has an ucler in his belly, but who knows.

I'm just sitting at home freezing my booty off. thermostat is being wonky. guess the batteries just needed changed. I really hope it snows enough that we won't have school/classes tomorrow.
