My cat got a hold of a blue jay baby and I had to save the poor thing. They make awful noises.

Your kitty tries to give your presents? My Gran cat used to find field mice and leave them at the door step every morning. XD

I'm the whole family is just lost right now. I saw one of the cousins at Kaleb's t-ball game and she said it feels like a dream. I guess the boy's mom isn't sleeping and everytime she tries she has awful nightmares. It's just heartbreaking.

Aww poor birdie! I think Blue Jays are pretty, but their song isn't. xP

Nephi- Eww! My aunt's cat brought her koi fish the other day out of the neighbor's pond. xD

That is just heartbreaking!! T_T I feel so sorry for that family! :(

Right now I'm struggling with whether I should tell Kaleb or not. I'm afraid we will see them somewhere and he will ask where Aiden is. :(

Well, he would have left it for me when it was dead, but he was in the process of playing with it. And he was tormenting the poor thing horribly. If he would just kill them outright and eat them, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but he just wants to play with them.

Yeah, I don't actually like blue jays, because they kill and eat the other birds' babies in our trees. But I can't just let my cat torment anything.

Oh gosh, my cat caught a fish out of the neighbor's pond too! I was SO EMBARRASSED ! Those fish get expensive!

Thanks! I found a bunch of markers and I've been having fun - I have another one in color as well. :]
I can't do them in color in my little journal - because it's too small and markers are too fine pointed.
I looooove color! :]
But I do also like them in black and white - I have 8 finished ones, and one that I just started last week in black and white in my journal (5"x5" are the ones that I have in there (my journal)).

The ones in color are done on 9"x12" sketch paper. :) So this isn't the whole design, because our scanner only fits 8 1/2
x 11" paper.

Oh man am I glad that I have tomorrow off.

So we think that my grandmother (mom's mom) had a stroke - she got dizzy, fell down, and is now in the hospital, and has slightly slurred speech, but she's coherent, and aware of what she's saying - mom has talked to her. Now mom, and her little brother, are trying to decide if they need/want to book tickets to go and see her - she lives in New Mexico and we all live in California. We're waiting for the doctor to call us back... again.

Indeed. I desperately need it.

Because if she isn't - I won't get to say goodbye as we can't afford to fly two of us out there. :(

Because last minute - that's 800$ round trip per person as we would get tickets last minute, but we wouldn't know how long of a trip it'll be.

So I'm hoping that she'll be ok, so I'll get at least one last trip to see her at least.
