I would wear ugg boots instead of slippers, but I wouldn't them out in public. Haha.

I asked my santa-hubby for a pair of black ugg bailey button boots.

I don't know, I've seen them worn by others, and they just don't appeal to me.

I want some Ugg boots.. or some that look like them. Maybe I can talk hubby into getting me some.

but they aren't, they buy their sheepskins and sheerings from other sellers
so i'm good with it and feel like it's much to do about nothing, to be honest.

I agree. After I thought about the PETA thing... I think maybe they make things worse than what they are.

I saw this huge post on Tumblr on why they hate uggs, something to do with mistreating of the sheep.
I think they were a bit misinformed, though.

Yeah, Uggs are just kinda.... ugh....

I've never really cared for them, except when they are actually worn for the snow.
Here in Austin, people wear them, and they look so much like snow boots...but we never have any snow.

Haha that would be funny to wear snow boots that far in the south... I mean what's the lowest the tempurature gets down there? I guess to them though it's cold. *shrugs*

I guess my dad bought me 2 pairs of new boots! I didn't want him to do that!

We actually got below freezing here a couple of nights.
There was some ice in the mornings, but it quickly went away.

I think today it was over 50 though.

I do have boots that I wear during our "winter", but they're the more "fashion" boot rather than snow boots.

Hahah here too... kinda strange since we are in Kansas.. I guess there were/are cowboys here too though.

Kansas was farmers.

Oklahoma and Texas were ranchers and cowboys.

I've seen plenty of cowboy boots, but never seen them paired with gym shorts.

Haha it was just odd because it was in the middle of summer and like 110 degrees.
