True, but I have a pet snake, so I'm used to having a high trigger animal.

Amane 01-15-2014 03:48 AM

Once another teacher brought snakes into my zoology class and let people hold them.

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 03:49 AM

Yeah, my snake made an appearance at zoology class as well. :) Everyone got to hold him, he loved it.

Amane 01-15-2014 03:57 AM

With one of the snakes, while someone was holding him, the teacher noticed the student had a bit of brown on his arm. She asked him about it, and he said he didn't know what it was and it wasn't there before. Then we all realized what the snake had done. [rofl] The teacher couldn't stop apologizing. He wasn't the kind of person to be that bothered by it, though.

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 04:08 AM

Haha, yeah. One of the guys was really uncomfortable handling Lukas and was holding him waaaaay far away from himself. It scared the, literal, poop out Lukas.

Amane 01-15-2014 04:13 AM

Oh my gosh! LOL! Do they scare easily in that way?

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 04:16 AM

Well, Lukas is a corn snake, so he's technically a ground snake. So having no visible ground would be pretty terrifying.

Amane 01-15-2014 04:21 AM

Those snakes might have been corn snakes. The name sounds familiar.

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 04:31 AM

They would have been red and yellow and black. Unless they were a funny morph. They could have been butter colored.

Amane 01-15-2014 04:34 AM

Oh, then no. I believe one was orange and another was kind of a grey camoflaugey color. His skin looked cloudy because it was almost time for him to molt. There could've been a red one.

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 04:36 AM

Well, the orange could have been a corn snake. Actually, either could have, but the grey is less likely. You can make a lot of money off of breeding different color morphs. Let me find some pictures.

Definitely! They were definitely among those patterns!

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 04:39 AM

Haha. I love corn snakes. They're such wonderful creatures.

Amane 01-15-2014 04:54 AM

I don't know if I could handle a snake, even if I weren't so afraid of animals. It takes guts to own a SNAKE. [insane]

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 04:57 AM

Haha, or you know, just a little bit of crazy. I don't know, I just really love all of the animals. I want to hug a shark one day. I volunteer at the wildlife center sometimes, and I'm rabies vaccinated so I get to play with the mammals. It's really the most fun ever to me. I like animals more than people.

Amane 01-15-2014 05:01 AM

Me with my pixel kitties. >w<
Hugging a shark? You really love the animals that are traditionally dangerous. [lol]

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 05:07 AM

Hahaha. Yeah. I do love the dangerous ones. They're beautiful and exotic. Though I adore my dogs and cats. I have two puppies and a cat as well. There are almost no animals I don't like. I literally would love to have a zoo.

Amane 01-15-2014 05:10 AM

Steelmagghia's private zoo. XD

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 05:12 AM

YESH! And there will be a special micro/mini section where we'll have pygmy hippos, pygmy marmosets, mini pigs, falabella horses, pygmy jerboas, and all the other teeny tiny adorable animals. [squee]

Amane 01-15-2014 05:14 AM

Oh my gosh, mini pigs sound like the most adorable things ever.

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 05:21 AM

They're so ridiculously adorable.
Look at this one in her tiny little sweater! EEEE!

Omg, and the little socks! [squee] I have a feeling you'd hoard those in basketfuls.

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 05:34 AM

Oh god yes. So. Ridiculously. Cute.
And pygmy marmosets. I'M NOT EVEN THAT FOND OF MONKEYS! But LOOK!

Amane 01-15-2014 05:42 AM

OH MY GOSH. IT'S LIKE A POCKET VERSION OF A MONKEY. THAT IS AMAZING.

steelmagghia 01-15-2014 05:47 AM

Yeesssss. And they're so freaking adorable. *sigh* Oh, and look at this one!
