Hahahaha it'd be an interesting job for someone with a bad case of insomnia I suppose? [rofl] |
Clock likes reading [ninja] |
Even if it's a boring, boring report? [gonk] |
well maybe not a super boring report. |
Unfortunately I think most reports tend to be pretty boring. [XD] |
that is super unfortunate. |
Yep. If only work doesn't have to deal with reports...or if people could manage to write more interesting reports...[sweat] |
-shoves bookcase at Nisty- |
lol! Got any interesting books there? [drool] |
*wanders in*

For the first time in a long time, I had to return books I didn't have time to read to the library today...it was a sad moment for me...especially since one of them was a manga volume which I had to wait for after placing a hold on.
|
Aww. That happens to me a lot. Usually because I borrow non-fiction books though so.. XD Usually those books are better to have and refer to than read through once and that's it.
|
I agree...about the non-fiction book thing. I've borrowed a particular non-fiction book about creative writing multiple times, because it had interesting prompts and ideas in it, I would actually buy a copy so I could keep referring to it, but I have hardly any books at home, apart from textbooks from study.
|
Yeah. I have some crafting books I need to go through and take notes/pictures of so I can give them back to the library. XD
Luckily no one's requested them so I can keep renewing them for now. |
See. at my public library system, the maximum number of times an item can be renewed is twice, and that's only if no one else has placed a hold on it.
|
I don't think there's a max number of times it can be renewed so long as no one has a hold on it. P:
Hopefully I won't have to renew them again though. [gonk] |
That would be nice, and really it does kind of make sense...but then it also means that unless the person returns it sooner or later, they could potentially keep it in their possession until someone puts a hold on it...and for items that aren't particularly well known or popular, that may never be the case...
|
I read manga books so fast that I turn them back into the library like a day after I had gotten them.
Or I'll read through them three times before I turn them back in on their due date. Actual books are a different story for me.. I have to be in the mood to read and even then I don't read them. |
I haven't been going to library much lately.
|
For the longest time I'd go to the library at least once a week...and I'm a little sad that I haven't been able to go as often lately.
|
I got one book from them I actually need to read. [ninja]
|
I haven't been inside a library in years. God forbid I think about it and consider that it might have been a decade since I've been in a library for anything other than studying between classes. I haven't read the books off a library shelf in years; I used to go almost every week to rent out a dozen books. What a shame that I discovered technology beyond the pages.
There's this little inkling that I have that perhaps I forgot to return a book or a movie from the public library. That as soon as I walk past those detectors, some silent alarm will sound (because it's a library after all) and I'm going to be closelined by weightlifting librarians who will drag me to the back room and interrogate me about a book I didn't return from adolescence. |
Ooh, so you're reading eBooks? [:O] Or similar~
Omg. XDD I know that here if you don't return a book after a while, you have to pay for it. P: |
I woke up today going,
"I feel like going to the library." Then I grabbed my iPad and.. Well.. I've been on here. Lol |
I have days like that Keno....
