Small earthquakes are okay since we need them so they let off some energy, if there's been too long without an earthquake, it's likely the next one would be catastrophic. [sweat];;

ClockReject 03-03-2014 06:11 AM

that is terrifying.

Antagonist 03-03-2014 06:20 AM

It is. Doesn't help that I live on the tenth story so any wobbling gets magnified the higher you are. [gonk] Don't even want to think about how much it must be shaking if one was on the top of the 101 building in Taipei...[headdesk] Also, the higher you are, the longer it takes for you to escape. Sooo...on the tenth floor, basically that means I can just find a place to hide and hope that the building doesn't collapse because there's no way I'll be able to run down ten stories within the time frame. [sweat]

ClockReject 03-03-2014 06:22 AM

how do people live in places like that?
I mean no offense or anything, I just wouldn't be able to handle that.
it would shoot my anxiety through the roof.

Antagonist 03-03-2014 06:23 AM

Haha I guess you just get used to it? [sweat] I've gotten used to small earthquakes, but the bigger ones still make my blood pressure go sky high. [gonk] Gods know how I managed to get through 921 without batting an eye...I blame it on my being still %80 asleep at the time it happened. [sweat]

ClockReject 03-03-2014 06:30 AM

that happened once for me too,
pretty much asleep too.

I think I like Canada [gonk]

Antagonist 03-03-2014 06:45 AM

Yeah...I woke up and was in the bathroom when the quake started. I just calmly finished my business, flushed, walked back out, where my dad said, "Earthquake." Me: "Yeah.", and walked back into my room, flopped down, and went back to sleep, with the quake still going on. [XD];; It was only the next day on the news that I saw how bad it was. [sweat]

Let's see...various hot pots, fried squid, roasted squid, pig's blood cake, rice cake (pig's blood cake with rice in it), fried yam balls, fried chicken steak, tons of drinks, etc. etc...[drool] Just go to any night market and eat everything!! [love]

NOOO!!! [rofl] Maybe. If someone else buys it. [rofl]

Fried yam balls.. [drool]
Fried chicken steak! [lol]
All right, some decent foods there. [rofl]

Yay! [boogie] I tried some tissue that had lotion in it, but I ended up not liking it because it made my nose all ... lotiony. XDD

You need a parachute!! [gonk]

Antagonist 03-03-2014 08:00 AM

Hahaha if you're in the area I'll buy some for you! [lol]

So much food here, and so many varieties [drool]
I'm feeling a little hungry just thinking about all of it. [lol]

Parachutes probably won't work considering the density of the buildings around here [gonk]
I'll just have to hope for the best that no major earthquakes will strike for...say, 100 more years. [lol];;;

*drools at Iku's signature [drool]*

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 03-03-2014 08:34 AM

Yay! \ o / Sort of because then I'll actually have to try it. XD

I'm feeling hungry too. But it is almost lunchtime. > w>;

That's true, but hey, better than nothing! XDD

-stuffs cupcakes into Nim's mouth-

How you been feeling anyway? Any better?

Antagonist 03-03-2014 09:01 AM

You'll have to come during their season though, or there won't be any available. [XD]

It's almost dinner time here, so...I'm getting hungrier. [lol]

[drool]!! *noms on the cupcake*

Much better, my voice is all normal now [boogie]
The temperature's been up and down though, so I've got a bit of a runny nose. [sweat]

ClockReject 03-03-2014 01:48 PM

Nisty; I woke up in the middle of the night
stood up, thought I was just dizzy,
and flops back into bed.

Iku; these ones are dry and soft,
and lotiony node when it's dry and
cracked from blowing it for days is wonderful.

Antagonist 03-03-2014 04:25 PM

...I've been coughing, and not the dry kind of coughing either, almost non-stop tonight. What the hell. [cry]

ClockReject 03-03-2014 06:08 PM

need cough drops?
or tea?

the American just came home early from work.

Antagonist 03-04-2014 12:02 AM

I'm eating a cough drop right now. D:
And I brought a bottle of tea with me to work. ; w;
Hopefully they'll help...Q AQ

Ooh, quality time! <3

ClockReject 03-04-2014 01:44 AM

ha, not really, she slept all day!

Antagonist 03-04-2014 01:54 AM

xDD!!

Does she have work again later?

ClockReject 03-04-2014 02:00 AM

nope, not for another 12 hours or so~
she just slept because that's the best way to deal with sick.

Antagonist 03-04-2014 02:00 AM

Oh. D: I thought she was getting better? Hope she makes a full recovery soon!

ClockReject 03-04-2014 02:13 AM

aha, nope I'm the one who is almost better,
she's just getting the sick that I had.

Antagonist 03-04-2014 02:14 AM

That sucks. [sweat]

Still coughing all over the office. [XD];; Put on my mask again so the person in front of me don't get all my coughs. [lol]

ClockReject 03-04-2014 02:17 AM

masks are such a smart thing.
[yes]

they feel suffocating to me, though.

Antagonist 03-04-2014 02:20 AM

The only inconvenience is that I'm also wearing glasses, and they clash on my nose. [sweat]
I'd breathe out and my glasses would fog, or my glasses would slip downwards because the mask's too slippery. [sweat]

The Wandering Poet 03-04-2014 04:32 AM

Don't forget to cough into your shoulder.

Erm.. who is that photobombing that photo?

Antagonist 03-04-2014 05:34 AM

I'm wearing a mask so it's okay [:)] I still try to avoid coughing in people's direction though...but sometimes the urge to cough is too strong and I don't have the time to turn away before it comes out. [gonk]

Benedict Cumberbatch. Five-year-old at the Oscars. [XD]
He photobombed them twice too.
