We used to use just a simple flat plastic box with the sand inside it for Zippy. And I don't think I've ever lived in a house that has a porch before. Zippy strictly stays in the house too since my mom doesn't want fleas or other bugs to follow her into the house.

My mom loves them. I like them too. But then the pickle taste gets kinda bleh if you eat too much of them. Kinda like Salt & Vinegar chips ( which are my fav ).

Yeah. We started out with the basics too but the cats like to flick cat litter everywhere and when we had dogs, they liked to eat the cat pooh. So, the house litter box is better. XD We don't have dogs anymore but at least the cat litter doesn't get everywhere anymore.

Oh, do you always just have steps then? I like porches.

Well, that's good! Strictly indoor cats stay alive longer and are healthier. My mom also likes that our cats don't get fleas and there's no bugs in the house. That's the biggest positive outlook on indoor cats. lol

well, my mom use to make my costume, like this really awesome Queen Amidala one, when I was younger. and we just got a new sewing machine, so there is a possibility that I could put something together.

I can't remember if Zippy sprays the cat litter everywhere or not...I think we had a broom for sweeping the sand up if it gets out.

Well, we live in a condo, with tons of other residents so we just take the elevator. ; I'd like a porch too, but we don't have too many houses here that would have a porch. Unless you're super rich or something.

Oh, you use the sand kind of litter? We use the rock. The sand can get up in their butts and may clog their extremities. And it could get in their eyes since they like cleaning their eyes with their paws and may get some sand in there and scratch their eyeballs all up. That's why we never touched the stuff.

Condos, ouch. Doesn't it cost 400$ extra to keep a pet? Ah, well, this house is over 100 years old. It's a Victorian. It was cheap, actually. You just have to go all over to find a cheap house. I hated doing that... I always fell asleep in the car XD

Nah, we own the house so we can do whatever want with it. Lots of residents here have pets, I've seen people go in and out of the elevator with dogs all the time. I think I'm the only one who takes a guinea pig out for walks though.
Yeah...most cheap houses here = lame facilities, no convenient shopping places, no hospitals or transportation, etc...
And definitely no porch. It's too crowded here for that unless you're rich and can afford to have one without it taking up too much of your indoors living space.
