Yeah. It's the easiest one for me probably, to get into. I'm not all that interested in English, and there's not much you could do with it here as a career here, but eh, whatever. My parents insisted that I get a master's so I'll have a higher ceiling and stuff...

I could do with getting my grammar back up to par though, my grammar's always been pretty horrible.

According to my dad, he spoke to one of the professors teaching at the institute of English I'm applying for recently, and the professor told him that translation isn't a good way of making money, since most publishers just use people from China instead and then auto-translate the entire thing from simplified to traditional. They pay less than they would have had to if they employed someone local. Soooo...yeah. That kinda sucks. I wonder if that's why I've been seeing so many mistakes on shows like TLC and Discovery? The people not actually checking to see if the translations are right or hiring the wrong people? It really sucks.
