I've been frequenting Solia a bit lately

I'm mostly on Facebook and fanfiction websites like FanFiction.net or ArchiveOfYourOwn.

I'm dreading going back on tumblr. My dash will have exploded.

I gave up on Tumblr, I do have an Insta though, for art and following art Insta's.

I plan on heading back to tumblr eventually, if only to find more quality Benedict pictures and/or information. I've recently fallen back into my Skyrim obsession so that's been taking up most of my time at night after work.

I've been playing quite a bit of the Final Fantasy that's online for the PS3.

well A Realm Reborn, is only for PS3 (and PS4 now, I think?) and it's an MMORPG.

I got distracted by food and television, woops. Haha, I've liked all of them so far, I think. The people I've been able to catch into conversation were all very nice, save for some unsavory users on Gaia. But with such a big community, there is bound to be some rude people around.

Yeah, there'll always be unsavory ones around unfortunately. I had a nice time while I was on Gaia with the occasional run-in with some rude arseholes, but unfortunately the system is also corrupt so in the end I left and never went back.

I've tried to frequent Gaia at least a little bit... Playing games or something, ya know? But then there are just so many updates for people to buy things and you can't ever buy anything, but commons without spending real life money or, like, spending a million gold on a single item. There was this one outfit I really wanted to get from Gaia, but one pose worth of the item was fifteen dollars. For pixels? That's crazy. I'd get it if there was a multitude of poses that you could all equip and THAT would be worth that much money, but geez.

How long has Solia been around for?

I think the Angelic Halo was re-released from what I've heard, and people actually willingly spent a thousand dollars for it from the cash shop.

Speaking of multi-pose items...that reminds me one of the reasons I love Mene so much: Multi-pose items can actually be multi-equipped! You don't need multiples of the same item to have all the poses you want equipped at the same time.

I joined in 2007 I think. Was quite active (often spending 12+ hours on the site a day), but after getting banned for some bullshit reason I went down to a few hours a day, and then just quit.

I've been around A LOT of avatar sites.

Magivolve(now dead), Menewsha(Obviously), Trisphee(Still activish), Midorea(this one is nice, but the battle system kills the forums), Zantarni(no longer active), Solia(not active anymore), Gaia(poor poor dieing gaia), Lunae Saga(also now dead), for some reason I am drawing a blank on the name of a few of them......

One of them had like....9 members Atrium or something like that.....and the other site josh started I was on that too for a long time.

The other site Josh started was Kinsaki, I believe, which is now bought over by someone else and goodness knows what happened to it now. Zantarni was also another site he started and then left for dead. >.> Ernya was also recently rebooted into Beta again, mass resetting accounts.

I joined Gaia around '04 or 05 I think, just after their first forum remake. Apart from that, I'm mainly still on Kingdom on Knuffel. I've been around other sites for a bit, though. Solia was nice when they first opened, and then too many Gaia elitists made their way in there and kind of killed the community for me. I was in Zantarni a little before they implemented the battle system, which caused the forums to go stone dead right after because earning gold through farming was easier than posting and trade. And then I was around other places, touch and go mostly, as I dedicated most of my time here on Menewsha after becoming a moderator in '08.

I'm okay now. I was doing something I really loathed back then, now is loads better although I'm busier than I used to be.
