Yeah, mine too. [sweat]

Ling 04-10-2014 07:46 AM

I think ET's face looks like a distorted tortoise face.

Cora 04-10-2014 09:14 AM

My list of fears is rather short:
-Snakes
-Spiders
-Crowds(this one is the worst. I go into full fledged panic attacks)

Antagonist 04-10-2014 09:28 AM

lol Maybe that's where they got the inspiration from? [lol]

I have a pretty long list if I think about it...a few of them are
- Fear of loved ones being injured/dying
- Fear of becoming physically impaired in some way (which, at the moment, is becoming blind...my vision's been getting worse and worse, and there's also the problem with my spine)
- Fear of phone calls and deadlines (I hate picking up the phone not knowing who it is on the other end, especially when it's work-related)
- Fear of zombies (I don't mind if it's just an unmoving corpse, mutilated or not)

Antagonist 04-10-2014 10:28 AM

o wo! *glomps Iku <33*

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 04-10-2014 10:36 AM

-snugs- [hug]
My... what an interesting avatar you have there... XDD

Cora 04-10-2014 10:51 AM

*gives everyone in the thread hugs, but double hugs for Antie and Iku*

Lexadis 04-10-2014 11:14 AM

Today I.. Had one of the worst experiences >.< I have a fear when I get on stage, and today it was doubly worse because the clapping was twice as loud and my head started spinning [XD] after I got down from stage I cried an awful lot and the seniors were looking at me as if I was crazy, crying after receiving an award o.0 [lol] Man, wasn't it scary! >.<

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 04-10-2014 11:17 AM

Aww yiss double hugs. [hug]

-pats Lexa- What was the award for?

Cora 04-10-2014 11:31 AM

Poor Lexa, that sounds terrible [hug]

Lexadis 04-10-2014 11:36 AM

It is terrible! [cry] Do you guys have problems when getting on stage? [ninja] It was for getting the second best results for O/L exam [:D] But.. Stage [gonk]

Cora 04-10-2014 12:11 PM

I have no problems with the stage. I was the star of the Drama club in high school xP

Lexadis 04-10-2014 12:40 PM

Woah that's great! [:D] I always get scared ._. But last year I don't know how, but I acted well without feeling dizzy on stage at all o.0

Cora 04-10-2014 12:53 PM

The trick is to fall into the part. If you tell yourself that there is nothing there and this is just an act in a show its easy to forget everyone is there.

Antagonist 04-10-2014 01:23 PM

@Iku: Bahahaha glad you like! [XD]
Was originally going for something else and somehow this just happened. [lol]

Blargh, I hate going on stage as well! Especially if it's a big presentation. If I'm just calling out names or something I'm fine with it (though I used to be a ball of nerve wrecked-ness for that as well), but if it's for something important and there are lots of important people downstage watching...[gonk] [gonk] [gonk] [gonk]

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 04-10-2014 02:13 PM

@Lexa: Congrats though! [:O] And hey you made it through the stage stuff. [yes]

@Cora: Lookit you! ;DD

@Nim: Lmao! What were you going for originally?

--
Stage: I get nervous, but once I get a little comfortable, I'm usually fine. As long as I'm not really acting or being the center. [lol]

Cora 04-10-2014 02:30 PM

If I lived near any of you people I'd knock that fear right out of you.

Lexadis 04-10-2014 03:32 PM

Cora - how I wish! =D
Anti - me too [gonk] I even get nervous when I have to read out loud for the whole class, even when I know everyone and speak with them every time [lol]
Iku - when I'm on stage I feel as if I'm the center, even while I'm just narrating stuff or something [gonk]

Antagonist 04-10-2014 05:02 PM

Come give us anti-anxiety-when-on-stage-lessons, Cora! ; w;

@Iku: Haha, a random bum, actually. xDDD My last avatar was the little guy holding that glass of drink while wearing a white wifebeater and pants and sandals...and I thought, I should add some stubble to make him look more like a bum. So I did that...and thought, he should have some chest hair. So I added that, only to see that the wifebeater was covering it up. So I removed it. And then added feet-fur. But they clashed somewhat with the stubble and the color of my pants and sandals, and after switching around a bit, I clicked the wrong item and ended up equipping the purple hairpin, and thought, wow, he be chillin'!. And from that...well, you saw what happened. Orz|||

Cora 04-10-2014 05:18 PM

The main key, is to pretend they don't exist. The only thing that exists in the moment is you and the stage. If its a speech, concentrate somewhere at the back wall and move yours eyes along it, people will think you are looking at them.

Antagonist 04-10-2014 11:37 PM

I always wondered how to make it look like I was looking at all of them without looking at them. [lol]
The pretend-they-don't-exist thing I know, but have a bit of a hard time making that work. [gonk] I mostly just tell myself that I don't care and even if I screw up it won't matter and just shoulder it through. [sweat]

Thanks Cora, will try that out the next time I'm on stage~

Cora 04-11-2014 01:22 AM

It takes practice, which....is probably not what you want to hear :P

Antagonist 04-11-2014 02:23 AM

Yeah...I'll be happy if I never have to step on stage again. [gonk]

Cora 04-11-2014 02:25 AM

Did you know, that stage fright is the number one fear. I wouldn't be so hard on yourself for it.
