lol I was annoyed by a bunch of people poking me back then too, but I think one or two friends who poke each other occasionally is okay.

I've been running gold lately because I haven't been posting or playing games as much as I used to. I'm mostly living off event contest golds. ;;

@Kenome: We're a little slow-paced so oftentimes it's half an hour or an hour later before someone responds.

I've been checking all day for posts and saw none.
Then I come on just now and two pages had gone by.
It made me laugh.

Antagonist & Lexadis - I didn't know about that (Elmira's problem). :(

I'm a bit new here, so I still a lot of items that I'm all "I wants that! " lol

@Kenome - Where do you live? Antagonist, Lexadis and I are from Asia, maybe that's why we tend to catch each other online around the same time. xD

@Kenome: lol Like what Sestina said, it might be a region problem in that we're in different time zones. I know the place is pretty much dead in the mornings here for me, which I know is around evening - before midnight time for those in the states. But in the afternoons here for me when I'm the most active, not many other Menewshans are on aside for those who are reaaally late nighters or those who live in Asia.


@Sestina: A lot of people seem to be running into RL problems lately it seems.

Haha I certainly know that feeling! I was pretty overwhelmed when I first joined and saw all the pretty items.
Even now I still have loads of items I want but still haven't gotten around to getting...

At least you seem to have good self-control when it comes to saving. I caved in last week when I bought this yumeh cat and now I'm saving up from zero again. xD

I buy commons and finish up all my money. Then I sell them at the shellback store.

I rarely buy commons from the shops anymore; I wait for events and get them half-price. I also try to post as much as I can and then use the tokens I earn from posting to get the items for free. My gold almost exclusively goes to CIs and other Mennies items. I got most of the past CIs and EIs that I want so I can focus on saving up for the 'big' items that I don't have yet, such as the '07 St. Patties or '07 Valentine's items that are all well over 200k each.

Old commons aren't included for the 'half-price' thing though! Menewsha releases new commons during events, and those are half-price. Once the event ends the commons are placed in shops where they'll be full-priced from then on unless a special event occurs, such as during this year's St. Patties (I think) where a bunch of green commons were labeled at half-price for the duration of the event.
