How old is Nibbler now? My guinea pig lived for almost 4 years until he got sick and died. |

lol I've experienced that too! But he never really bit hard enough to make my finger bleed. I love it when they popcorn around the room or their cages. [XD]

Haha I think it's like the habit of rodents to give everything they haven't tried before a nibble to see if it's edible, then they don't do it again. I had two lab rats as pets too and they both have bitten me once each too, drawing blood. [XD] |
Even if the thing they are nibbling could easily knock them flat.

lmao! Yes! That reminds me of the time a classmate told me about the hamster her cousin had...the hamster had a mean streak and would bite anyone who held her, no matter who it was. One day another relative came along and, as usual for most people, saw the 'cute' hamster and picked it up. It bit her. Reflexively, the relative swatted the hamster with her other hand the the hamster flew and rolled over and over across the table before skidding to a stop...and from then on, whenever the relative came along and picked it up, it would be super docile. |

lol Yeah...my pet rat Touchy learned that when he bit me he ended up dangling by his tail for a while, and from then on I could stick my finger into his mouth and he wouldn't bite me. [XD] |

Yes, they also run around too. They do that when they're happy or I think when they also feel restless, like they have pent up energy. ^_^ My guinea pig used to do that like crazy running and bouncing around. [lol]
