I've gotten used to the right-handed arm chairs and can opener but I hate those scissors that are made just for the righties. Ballpoint pens don't work well when I use it to write too, which was quite frustrating whenever I was writing an essay during an exam and time was almost up. xD
Oh, and I remember the first time I saw/noticed that Keanu Reeves was left-handed, I was so happy. [insane] |
Trying to find a left handed desk in classrooms was like going out for a hunt... And then if I ever found one it was glorius! OH SO GLORIOUS!!! [gonk] Not all classrooms in my schools had left handed desks. Scissors and can-openers really exist to cause me great pain and frustration.. And whenever I see a celebrity that is left handed I don't get excited but I do smile [XD]
Also, back in elementary when most grades I was in had those long tables, I always bumped elbows with a righty until one day I just decided I'd sit at the far left corner where I can't bother anyone <_> |
Yeah, it does feel really comfortable whenever I do get to find a left-handed armchair. What really bugged me back when I was in uni was that there were some right-handed people who like to use the one or two left-handed armchair in a classroom [stare]
I also prefer to sit on the left corner, my sisters and I have made a conscious effort that I end up sitting on the left whenever we go out to eat to prevent our elbows from hitting each other [lol] |

I wish my family made that kind of effort. Whenever I'm sitting to eat with family Someone else sits on the end .. Or it's a rounbd table, so I always bump elbows with someone >_< If only everything was left handed friendly~ |

Most of the lefties I know have learned to become semi-ambidextrous because of those problems, and because people traditionally are biased against lefties and oftentimes the parents would 'correct' them to use their right hand instead. So, pros and cons...I know I certainly absolutely suck at doing things with my left hand while my lefty friends could do them with both. [gonk] Quote:
