We have a lefties restaurant here xD
I asked once if I get a discount since I'm a lefty but they only give 50% discount to the lefties during the International Lefthanders Day.

I'm sort of a hard headed lefty. I do have a friend who's semi-ambidextrous at doing things because of the right handed-ness of the world.

My dad's left handed so I wasn't forced to write using my right hand, thankfully.
My cousin who's a few years younger than me was forced by her mother to write using her right hand. I remember my aunt holding up my cousin's left hand while telling her to write with her right hand. My cousin cried silently and asked for her left hand. She kept pleading to her mom saying, "Bowow (Borrow)." I remembered looking at them and thinking that there must be really something wrong with me because I use the "wrong" hand. When my dad saw what was happening and that I was watching them, he got angry and clearly told my aunt that there was nothing wrong with being left handed and that she shouldn't tell her own daughter that using her left hand is wrong and the correct way is to use her right hand. My aunt dropped my cousin's left hand then.
I think she still tried to force my cousin though because my cousin holds her spoon and fork the right handed way but she looks really awkward when eating though.

Yeah, my friend told me that her mom slapped her left hand every time she used it to eat. >__>

Jeesuz people, being left-handed isn't some kind of disease!

Yeah, I seem to come across a lot of left-handed people...so I don't get why there's still such a big stigma on lefties like its a bad thing, and why there aren't more products designed for left-handed people. >_>

I guess part of the reason is because most stuff are geared towards right-handed people, like desks, scissors, etc, so the parents want them to get used to using their right hand in order to be able to use them?

According to my friends, I hold my chopsticks weirdly too. [XD]

Your handwriting looks beautiful! o Ao Very artistic-looking. Mine's just...messy. xD If I write slowly they're okay-looking but if I'm in a hurry it's almost unreadable. >_>;;

Scissors don't work well in the wrong hand too. Dx I tried a lefty scissor once and couldn't get it to cut when I used my right hand, and vice versa for righty scissors in my left hand. ^^;
