@Lexa - That's good to know [hug] So the chaos going on there is about religion?

That thrishaw is so cute! [XD] We have something similar to that here but not cute. [lol]

I love racing and driving fast [ninja] but I don't endanger other drivers and people I'm with and who are around me. So far, I've avoided getting into accidents because I have quick reflexes during situations that might result into an accident. I'm the one who ends up avoiding those maniac drivers who doesn't really watch out where they're going or think first before they do something (like turning a sharp left while in the right lane without looking on their rear-view mirror. [XP]

VeraDark 06-16-2014 06:00 PM

And that's why I'm scared to drive anywhere.

Good thing I always have bus money.

Lexadis 06-16-2014 10:59 PM

Religion. Yes. I don't even know why that should be a problem [cry]

[lol] Those thrishaws are everywhere. They are the vehicles that have been getting the most accidents in our country too. And they park all over the road, make colonies, make new place a place for them to park. They are very.. annoying [XD]

I don't like buses [gonk] I've never traveled in a public bus before. That being said, I don't have a license either [XD]

And Ant, I told my friends about the ice cream and they doubt that the ice cream was the cause. They said sepsis shock from bad food can't be pinpointed by one specific food that you ate or something like that. They said that the ice cream was just your stomach's last straw. They said that your stomach must have already no longer felt good before the ice cream (weeks, even months before), which was, I guess, why they said you're lucky to have gone to the hospital on time.

Haha yeah, I used to drive very slowly when I first started driving, but now I drive pretty crazy too, but not too crazy...just a little on the faster side but I still mostly follow the red/green lights. [sweat] Though I have been in a couple of car accidents that were mostly the fault of the other person...[lol];;

Wow, okay, that sounds true. [shock] My stomach hasn't been in greatest form for a while, I just didn't know it was so bad. [gonk] Gotta watch what I eat more from now on. [no]

Maniac drivers [gonk] The roads here are crazy too. All the bikes and three wheels.. Last week I saw a three wheel/thrishaw upside down, with the roof completely off. The story behind it? A biker has been coming at a very mad speed and has collided with the three wheel. The impact sent the three wheel a complete vertical flip >_> The biker had knocked over a few other vehicles too before this three wheel. Good for him, he was caught.

Good to hear that you're safe [hug] It's just sad how obsessed some people can be over religion. [no]

Haaa that reminds me of all the automobile accidents around here on the news. [XD] Just yesterday was one where the driver was driving at about 100kmph and when he turned a corner he lost control of the car and it skidded all over the place; first hitting a woman waiting for the light, killing her, then crashing into nine different cars and scooters, both driving and parked, before flipping over and coming to a stop. The driver hadn't drank anything, but still. Stupid people and their stupid insane love of reckless driving...[stare]

Lexadis 06-17-2014 12:00 AM

We don't even have traffic lights around here [XD] There's only one place where there's a traffic light in out province, and then there's traffic lights in the capital. That's it [lol]

Here is me hoping that the government would really take things under control.

[shock] [shock] [:-x] God that must have been one hell of an accident [gonk]

Antagonist 06-17-2014 12:08 AM

Omg I can see why your mom and sister doesn't want to drive [rofl] I probably wouldn't be able to drive a car there either...a scooter, maybe, but probably not a car. I don't drive cars often and would likely panic. [lol]

...Well I certainly hope the conflict stops soon. [no] It's always the innocents that end up suffering the most when conflicts like these arise.

lol That's by far not anywhere near the worst. [XD] There was that other guy who mistook the gas pedal for the brake and crashed into a crowded market area, there's the people who drunk-drive, there's the people who are plain reckless or not paying attention...happens almost every day. [sweat]

VeraDark 06-17-2014 12:13 AM

Man, Sri Lanka, Kenya, and Iraq, all of them with the same kind of BS going on in the same night last night.

When is everyone going to start practicing their respective religions?

Or are they just clubs for asshats now or something?

Lexadis 06-17-2014 12:14 AM

[rofl] [rofl] Hey you're mistaking me and Ses! [rofl] [rofl]
[gonk] As much as vehicles are good and all that, it brings death [gonk] Now they are building all road systems here. And they are increasing the height of the road, and there's like, a one foot (or more) height difference between the road and the pavement. And then they are building drains too, and we have to walk on the road, along with the vehicles >_> And they hadn't even marked the white lines. So the traffic here is in a mad state right now [XD]

Antagonist 06-17-2014 12:15 AM

It's the zealots and fanatics that do the most damage. Ordinary practitioners are (usually) much more peaceful. [no]

Lexadis 06-17-2014 12:20 AM

Yes. I mean, no religion says to fight or attack another religion, unless they are in turn being attacked or something. Every religion (as far as I know) speaks about respecting religious differences. We all believe in a supreme power but with different names and practices. We don't live in the ancient days people! [illgetu]

You're right, of course, and now I feel like a real a-hole for being so judgemental...

You'd think if I was any better myself, I'd reflect it in what I say, right?

-_-;

Ahhh!! Sorry!! [rofl];;; I really shouldn't be up so early in the day. [lol]

What the...why the hell the foot-high difference between the road and the pavement?! [gonk]

Haha don't worry about it, I know the zealots and fanatics bring a bad name to their religions...like how in the United States a lot of people automatically think Muslim = terrorist. Which obviously isn't true.

Lexadis 06-17-2014 12:35 AM

No problem [XD] [rofl]

Because for now they are only constructing the main roads and not caring about the pavement at all ;_; And then if you want to steer off the main road into a small street, our car (it's a Vitz, and they pretty much bump even onto little holes ;_;) goes bump bump bump and the unserside of the car hits the road making an ugly sound [gonk]

Muslim are considered as terrorists all over D: And here we are taught that Islam is a religion of peace. >_<

Hau 06-17-2014 12:44 AM

i've slept and managed to recover! i also spent most of my day wasting it lmao.
(*^-’) 乃
how is everyone?

VeraDark 06-17-2014 12:44 AM

Yeah, it's funny... none of the Muslim people I know ever have anything nasty to say about anyone for who they are. I've never even had a Muslim person be rude to me, unless it was the sort of thing where anyone would have acted the same way.

I really dislike the whole "in for a penny, in for a pound" thing people do when they lump everyone in together. It's just ... tacky.

Antagonist 06-17-2014 07:08 AM

@Lexa: That really sucks. My mom has a Toyota Camery that has a low underbelly...it scrapes against the ground a lot if there are too many sharp bumps and stuff. [gonk] Can't even drive out from an underground parking lot that has a steep slope without scraping against the ground. [stare]

The Muslim religion is a peaceful one if going by the Quran (that I recall), but the fanatics take it to a whole different level...same with Christianity actually. Christianity is supposed to be all about loving everyone and being nice, how God loves all humans, etc, but then you have the people running around screaming about how God hates gays and people starting crusades to eradicate anyone who doesn't believe in God. [roll]

Hell, the news link you posted is the same...the Sinhalese person/group that started all this mess is a Buddhist for Sithis's sake and Buddhism's always been like the epitome of peace and love. *sigh*

@Toohsie: I've taken the day off from work and am just chilling at home while hoping that the unwellness I feel in my stomach goes away soon. [yes]

@Vera: So true. Humans tend to lump things in together...I know it's human nature but it still sucks oftentimes. [no]

Lexadis 06-17-2014 10:28 AM

And scraping is horrible [gonk] mum always says that we need a lorry to drive around here [XD]

Yes. All religions in it's pure form are all good. Religion can be perfect, people aren't. And they blame it all on religion. Not fair >_> there has been protests going on, buses are checked, people are advised not to leave their jokes in some area, they've put up curfews in a few other places are what I've heard of happening now. I hope everything will turn out alright [=3]

How are you feeling now?

Antagonist 06-17-2014 11:22 AM

lol A Jeep would also be nice, good for rugged grounds and stuff. [lol] But kind of gas-consuming...

I hope everything turns out okay too. [:(] The world needs less conflict.

I'm feeling okay, though I'm hungry but I'm wary of eating anything in case my stomach rebels again. [sweat]

Lexadis 06-17-2014 11:43 AM

My dad owns a jeep and it costs more than twice the amount of petrol my mum uses >_>

Ant is fasting with me! [boogie] [XD] Stop the rebels! Everywhere! Ranging from Ant's stomach to the world! [illgetu]

[ninja]

Sestina 06-17-2014 01:06 PM

@Antagonist - -pretends to be a doctor- I'm sorry to say this but you're going to be vegetarian for the rest of your life. [XD]

That's the reason why I don't practice a certain religion. I just believe in a higher-being. =3 On my Facebook page, this is what I placed on my religion:
http://i.imgur.com/Dj24LEJ.jpg

My family is Roman Catholic. My parents are headstrong at being Roman Catholic (my ex is a Lutheran and they weren't really happy about that fact, they prefer him to change to Roman Catholic). They don't really know what I believe in but I do think they know in someway, but they're too afraid to ask, because I always ask them a lot of questions about the bible or our religion that they end up speechless or angry. Sadly, my parents are the kind of people who condemn others/make up their own version (my mom once said that Christianity is the first religion, I almost choked on what I was eating that time and ended up coughing)/etcetera. I think me and my older sister know more about Roman Catholicism and have read the bible than both our parents, since we love to read and ask a lot (and we end up researching online/on books for answers), but I wouldn't consider myself a Roman Catholic and my sister is either an atheist or agnostic (depending on her mood).

Antagonist 06-17-2014 04:04 PM

I mostly believe in video game gods. [XD]

I put henotheism as my religion on Facebook. [lol]

Sestina 06-17-2014 04:17 PM

Just read about henotheism since I haven't heard of it before. I like it. [yes] Also read that monotheism is under henotheism, understandable. =3

Antagonist 06-17-2014 04:24 PM

Yeah...originally I had it under Polytheism, but it didn't seem to fit because I usually only focus on one or two gods, and in the end settled down Henotheism. [XD] I'm more of a really casual worshiper than a devout one.

Lexadis 06-17-2014 04:27 PM

I'm a Muslim, obviously [XD] We do believe in Jesus and Jews.

Henotheism? *goes to check*

Sestina 06-17-2014 04:40 PM

Guys. I can't breathe through my nose. [XD] [lol]
