i'll be out new year's eve alll day. a work training 8:30-3:30, driving to the hockey game for 4:30, leave after the game about 8ish, back in the city about 9 and then out partying with friends down in the old port, which is basically a slew of bars and clubs [yes] hoping to see a hockey player or two out there as well! saw a lot of them out on halloween so let's hope they are feeling spirited!

i've gone to bars lots but this is the first time i've been out for this holiday. i'm excited and nervous!

What's it like to go out?

there's a lot of people, depending in where you go. you have to get the bartender's attention, which usually means holding out your money so they can see it. you can sit at the bar, find a table or stand around/dance with everyone else. some bars have televisions with sports games on, some just have lots of lights and loud music. you'll get drinks spilled or splashed on you, but it's ok cause you'll splash on other people too. then when the lights come on the magic dies a little and everyone filters out. it's closing time. find a cab or walk to where you need to. not so bad

I arranged to get the second one for art. It's hard to shop on my iPod though.

I doubt whether they'll bring out a 5th one today.
