Everyone slept in. My little brother and cousin in law are still in bed. I think my mom wandered back to bed as well.

Yup. Last I had talked to her, she didn't know what they were going to do.
She said last year they stayed at home, and that was a mistake, so she was going to try to find out if anybody was having a party, and invite themselves to it.

Instead, they did a "Feeding the Children" thing with some people from their church.
It's an organization that sends food to starving children. Volunteers package up the food and get it ready for shipping. So that's what they did.

I wish we had an organization like that here...I think that would be a good thing to do.

there probably is something like that there. Go to a local food pantry or something and see what's going on.
I've worked at places like that before, and it's nice.

We donate to the Meals on Wheels and the food pantry here.
I should check to see if they do something like that.

I've only just now started to spend my tokens. I haven't made many this event.

I think I'll use gold for the pearl headbands.
I like the tights and the Brigitte tops. The fleece jackets and the boots are nice too.

I want the short skirts. I got the belts, hairpins, and ei's so far.

I may go for those skirts too...
