Lol. I am not a social butterfly. I want to be but it is so hard to socialize and takes a lot out of me if that even makes sense. Plus..my threads always die so i post or try to post in a lot of places to advertise them. |
I've got good regulars in my threads. They fade from day to day, but eh, they last. It takes pinging the right people.

I would ping some of my friends but i know some people hate pings and I don't want to upset or annoy them because most of my threads are like..dead. So i'd have to ping them to..a lot of threads. [lol] |

For me it depends. Like, if I have been pinged constantly I will be annoyed. Or if you ping me to a place I wouldn't go or being pinged to a thread i am subscribed to I probably will be upset.[sweat] |
Yep. Those all bug me. I don't like being pinged to a new hangout. I don't mind talking about a place and being given the link the check out if I want though or asking to be pinged. I mostly rely on pings for giving and getting art. Or if I'm teasing someone in a conversation somewhere they're not a part of and I want them to see.

well i remember a user, i think it was dessertdesirert maybe, who was pretty gungho about 'beating me' haha i think i just thought it wasn't a competition and i wasn't competing so i have to say it kind of turned me off a bit

I understand that. I never thought it was a competition. I don't think having a lot of posts means anything. If it's all dull stuff anyway, who cares? Best make meaningful posts to meaningful people.
