Why randomly walk to the mailbox? I assume that the mail person comes at about the same each day ^_^;

I wouldn't call our mail service punctual. And needed to send out the bills. Wasn't really to get the mail.

laaame. There's a mailbox at the end of the street for all the houses and that's where smaller packages and outgoing mail goes too.

Yeah, there's just no room for it here and it would be annoying. This corner of the neighborhood is entirely no outlet.

Well, I am only really familiar with the way my mailbox is set up and my relatives's mailbox. The relatives live in an apartment building, so all of their mailboxes are lined up in the lobby with locks and such.

yeah, typical apartment/dorm set up. Always such tiny mailboxes too!

I agree, the mailboxes are super tiny! But apparently they are deep, so that the mail people can fit pretty long envelopes into them anyhow, and I guess fold up magazines if the people have any subscriptions. And then I think in terms of the packages, they have to come downstairs and sign for them.

definitely sign for the packages. I hear my brother's apartment had decent sized mailboxes, but I didn't look at them when I visited.

well i got about the usual amount of sleep tuesday but last night i went to a kickboxing class and i absolutely loved it and then this guy i've been seeing quite a bit of lately came over to watch a movie. he even made an apple pie, good man right there! i like him quite a bit [yes]
got a four day weekend though so i'm pretty excited to not be around irritating kids [lol] have you been well? |

oh yes, very much so. i mean i have friends, but most of them don't live near here so i've just always sort of adapted and been comfortable just doing my own thing. like, if i want to go out to eat, i'll just go by myself, same with movies or (what little i do) shopping or whatever, even went to see craig ferguson do stand up and i didn't have anyone to go with so i just went by myself. i've never really gone out of my way to find someone to do stuff with although i usually ask, but if they say no or can't for whatever reason, i don't let that stop me from doing something i really want to do, ya know?
i've been like this for a very long time too. which is why it's important i think, that i found someone i want around a lot hahaha |
I like to be alone too, but for some reason I can't do stuff like that. I'd feel weird doing social things alone and it really doesn't help I don't have a car. I'm so used to hitching a ride with people, so I don't much go out if not with someone.

perhaps having a car makes it easy for you to feel awkward about social things because, hey, you can't get anywhere anyways, right? [lol]

totally. I'm used to always being with someone, but it really just feels to me like social should be social. I hate sitting by myself at dinner especially.
