I'm jelly, but not about the snow. I'm fine with the minor chill here. I had junk food at my mom's dinner at the church. The cookies were nice.

Yeah. Snow kept me in....but it wasn't as bad as they said it would be so. No biggie. I'm sure I'll get out tomorrow.

It's what my mother hosts and I got conned into helping. It's a dinner to welcome new members to the parish. There were probably close to a hundred people there.

It's not that bad. It was pretty to look at falling....and it's nice to see everything get coated....especially when it sticks in the trees all day. It was the super sparkly snow with well formed stellar dendrites. Which, is awesome.

Wow. 100? Do they wait to host these dinners till there are a bunch of newbies? I never went to church (for religious purposes), but I sang out one for a semester in college for a class, and they gave away these cute gift bags to the newbies.

I mean cool, but OMG! I'm from Texas. Too much culture shock for me to handle.

There are over 6,000 families in my mom's parish. They do three of these dinners a year to keep up with the growth, but that might have been the biggest turn out.

i want brownies. maybe i'll buy stuff for it tomorrow. i am too sicky to go out now....also, my roommate has blocked me in and i don't feel like having to dick around with that

Uh, sounds troublesome. My mom was really wanting brownies yesterday. She said she would break for diet for them and only them. As there weren't any, she didn't break her diet.

i guess that's a good thing but brownies are delicious

my roommate might have some up in the cupboard because her mom gives her lots of goodies to bake whenever she goes home... but that would require effort

and to just add more to that, she didn't go back out because she was getting jiggy with her boy toy (notice i did not say boyfriend, as he is really just her german sugar daddy... gross)
