But for some reason, the sandwich can make the trip...

I feel that would be a very un-me thing to do.

Hello all. How are you all doing? I hope you are all doing well. I am resisting the urge to change my outfit. I must keep this on at least through Easter. It's just so girly and I don't usually go for overly girly avatars. This is the most girly I think I have ever gone. And it's the most pale color wise that I have ever done. I usually use darker colors. Though I am very glad to have an outfit to use my Orchid Hair Pin with. I think it's the first time I've ever used it. I also really love how the pirate color goes with Orchid color.

Kat Dakuu 03-27-2015 04:25 PM

Hey kirin. I am well though I am at work. That's funny because I think all of your avis are quite girly.

Kirin Rosenbaum 03-27-2015 06:31 PM

I was thinking girly as in the colors. I usually use much darker colors and never pink or pinkish colors.

Kat Dakuu 03-27-2015 06:41 PM

But you're always cute in a dress.

Kirin Rosenbaum 03-27-2015 06:41 PM

Yeah but I am so not a pink girl.

Kat Dakuu 03-27-2015 06:47 PM

I wouldn't really call what you're wearing now really pink either.

Kirin Rosenbaum 03-27-2015 06:48 PM

Still not my color comfort zone. Though I would love to have some real life clothes in the pirate color.

Kat Dakuu 03-27-2015 08:51 PM

Me too. That shade of purple looks good on me, but greens and blues are better.

Yup! In case you feel peckish after the trip.

Hey Kirin! Keep the avi. It's cute![insane]

Kat Dakuu 03-28-2015 12:30 AM

Well then.
What is this book called?

Woodlandnymph 03-28-2015 02:18 AM

Thaaaat was from one of the Tiffany Aching books. In order it's Wee Free Men, Hat Full of Sky, Wintersmith, and I Shall Wear Midnight. I think that bit was from The Wintersmith cause the main character (a witch in training) was staying with an old old witch Miss Treason who died during her steading there.

SPOILERX

So, basic premise, this girl who lives on her family's farm decides that she isn't suited to be a maiden in the stories because she's not blonde and willowy or red headed and busty. She's just brown haired, brown eyed, and kinda short....she sees that this old women is called a witch and cast out in her community. She dies and the people in her town burn down her house. So, Tiffany decides she should be a witch because someone needs to stop things like that from happening. She's got a knack for it, da dee daaa, she's befriended by pictsies (like pixies, but angry, blue, very Scottish, smelly, and beings who like to fight and steal), and she holds her own against the Queen of the Fairies who steals away her baby brother.

You might really like it. It's a fun, witty series.

One of my favorite quotes from a modern book series is from this series.

Thanks for the info. I'll think about trying the series out.

Woodlandnymph 03-28-2015 02:56 AM

Yah. I totally prattled on too much about it. <.< But it's so good

Kat Dakuu 03-28-2015 03:09 AM

I still don't read many books, but i'm getting a little better. I still mostly read fanfiction though.

true story.

Kat Dakuu 03-28-2015 06:01 AM

Roll...far far away....

Woodlandnymph 03-28-2015 03:01 PM

I was just telling a friend that this winter I was reading a book a day cause we were so snowed in. Ain't no thing cause I'm a fast reader.

You fart on her, and you BOTH roll away from it. That's how it goes!

Kat Dakuu 03-28-2015 04:44 PM

I read a whole book in less than a month. I was pretty proud of myself.

Linnea 03-28-2015 04:54 PM

i just read a book in about three days. that's about average if i'm really into it. i try to make time to sleep and shower and the like

last night i went out to eat after the game and i got a felafel wrap. pretty good, but now i am some reallllly stinky ass gas. i toot directly into a mason jar and mail it your way, kat [lol]

Kat Dakuu 03-28-2015 05:21 PM

Gross linn. Keep it to yourself. I haven't had felafel in forever though. Pretty good stuff.

Woodlandnymph 03-28-2015 10:22 PM

Man. I looooooooove falafels. Can't say they give me stinky gas....but I can see how that might happen. Mmmm hummus.....tahini........IN MY MOUTH!

I made swedish meatballs and used the lingdonberry jam I bought at Ikea so I could be like them. Except mine were better cause it was all homemade.

Kat Dakuu 03-28-2015 10:57 PM

interesting. I've never had good swedish meatballs, but I haven't had homemade before. Nothing that I would expect to be good. I'd like to try a jam like that though. I'm curious about other country's foods.

Woodlandnymph 03-28-2015 11:23 PM

It's nice. The meatballs are rich and the jam cuts through with a nice bite. Almost like fresh made cranberry sauce.

Kat Dakuu 03-28-2015 11:27 PM

hm, though I'm not a big fan of cranberries or meatballs for that matter. I should have tried something like that back when I was a kid and less adverse to meat.
