I've never tried bubble tea before. I keep telling myself I have to one of these days, but I never seem to get around to it. Shame on me! And that''s also considering the fact there are quite a few bubble tea places around where I live. I definitely have no excuse!

Woodlandnymph 04-20-2015 04:10 PM

Mmm. Bubble tea is yummy. There's a place that makes roasted green tea bubble tea and it's my faaavorite.

Kat Dakuu 04-20-2015 07:58 PM

I only know of one place to get bubble tea and it's in a restaurant.

Linnea 04-20-2015 08:24 PM

ooo bubble tea [drool] i loves me some bobas!

bluerockman 04-20-2015 09:01 PM

I still need to find me some place to regularly find me some Neuro. Those are good drinks. Bliss especially. I love the Bliss drink.

Kat Dakuu 04-21-2015 12:51 AM

I have a frap. I missed out on the mocha drizzle though.

Woodlandnymph 04-21-2015 12:53 AM

You should go there then Kat!!

We've got that all over the place here B-rock. :D

Linny! I know you do. I've got some tapioca pearls and mango bubble tea mix. We can make some smoothies or just the regular drinks when I see you.

bluerockman 04-21-2015 12:55 AM

You have Neuro more readily available? I'm tempted to ask where your area is. :o I only ever find them in the grocery store anymore, and at fairly small supplies.

Woodlandnymph 04-21-2015 12:57 AM

I'm in Connecticut. :D I don't mind sharing that. We've got a looot of random stuff you don't find so much. Like, I was in a store and I saw regular, radish, AND white kimchi. Seriously, just a year ago, you wouldn't even find normal kimchi around regularly.

Kat Dakuu 04-21-2015 12:57 AM

we go there all the time, but I don't even know if they do it at dinner time. I just see a sign on the wall. I've never anyone make or drink a bubble tea there.

Ah, a little too far from where I am, but it's pretty awesome that you have plenty of Neuro there. The only way it could be better is if Surge was still readily available. [lol]

Woodlandnymph 04-21-2015 01:01 AM

That'd be a selling point for me to go there. There's a noodle place in a town I meet my friend in...and more than likely, we'll go there to partake in their pork buns and boba tea.

Surge. Hah. That was the drink of choice for my older siblings, growing up.

I once drank an entire 12 pack of the stuff when I was a small tyke. My mom was real mad at me for it. Probably because of both the health factor and because of having to get more.

Linnea 04-21-2015 01:08 AM

i'mma hold you to that offer, woodster! you need to make me lots of foods and stuff!

Woodlandnymph 04-21-2015 01:28 AM

Ha!! My head would pop off if I drank that much. Man.

Oh yeah Linny cakes! You know it. All sorts of treats!

adella_demona 04-22-2015 03:51 PM

*pops head in thread and enters sheepishly*

I loooooove Kimchi.
I really wish I could have some ._.
I want to bring some home but my mother in law would probably kill me if I left it in her fridge.

Woodlandnymph 04-24-2015 12:16 AM

I looooove me some Korean food. *drool* I just had some bossam and a dol sot rice bowl with octopus with my friend! Along with all the glorious side dishes and some hameul pajeon. <3 <3

Really? I don't think kimchi would smell up the fridge unless you leave it open and stuff.
Also hi and welcome!

*sprinkles sprinkles on Linny*

Wings of Writing 04-24-2015 08:34 PM

so i'm popping in here cuz i've heard linny and woody have some level of knowledge of korean food?

i'm trying to write an rp and i need to know like type of side dishes

Kat Dakuu 04-24-2015 08:42 PM

yes, tell me what this bossam is at least!

Linnea 04-25-2015 01:10 AM

i don't know a lot of the names, i just know what they look like and what they taste like. woody would be the better person to ask about specific names and such

Kat Dakuu 04-25-2015 01:15 AM

Is it tasty?

Wings of Writing 04-25-2015 01:15 AM

tastiness is a good question cuz i've never actually had korean food. just other types of asian cuisine.

Kat Dakuu 04-25-2015 01:48 AM

Same same. My family doesn't want to try.
