i did a little last night and i am meeting family today. what did you do to celebrate yours?

Me and wingsy went to see Antman and I had lunch with my parents. They went to a concert so we didn't go do dinner like we usually do.

How was Antman?

It was really good. There were some very hilarious parts!

Really? Well, I'm not sure what branch antman is, I think Marvel but I could be wrong... Avengers had some really funny parts. A few but they were funny and mostly involving the Hulk.

Yeah, it's Marvel. Antman is all tied in with some Avengers stuff. Marvel is the one that does all the superhero movies. Outside of Batman, not much else but Marvel happens on the superhero front.

DC had a couple other hero movies out but you're right, marvel does a lot more and better [yes] i saw a clip from antman when i went to see jurassic world and it didn't look too bad. my cousin's dooo-mas husband said it was going to be terrible and ranted and raved at how awful it will be. i don't know, he doesn't have very good taste... well other than in my cousin because she's actually really pretty hahaha

Because it's antman, not a lot of people thought it would be as good as other marvel movies. It didn't seem like a good concept and he's not a well known or beloved comic character. But hey, I think the movie redeemed all of that.

that's good to know. perhaps i'll give it a go. i like going to the movies and there is a place here that has 5 dollar movies on tuesday's and it's current movies too!

aw thanks, woodster. and my birthday was particularly depressing, kat [lol] like more than last year and the year before that maybe? it's just another day anyways right? so what's it matter. i might be going a little deep here, especially when you consider that this thread is usually so weird and chipper hahaha but my birthday has kind of only been a reminder of the things i thought i'd already have to show for all the years i've been alive. i don't have much, and this year it was even less since my car (the only thing i own that is totally mine) has been unusable for over a week now. i know there is an ebb and flow to things but i'd sure like something positive to happen, ya know? i'd be ok with a balance instead of just being shat on a lot.

Aw, I'll give linny a good ole hug. [hug] I know how ya feel, but you got to look at it as good things that can still happen!

I wish I could have come up to your rescue Linny pants!!!!! I am so broke that I can't even go out and waste gas around town unless I really really have to. XD

And I know that feel. It sucks when nothing special happens on your birthday. Mine was in for crap this year till I had my party, since I got let go the day before by those shitty douche poops. This fall we will have to have an awesome time doing something. Ren Faire, hang out...I don't care! Something fun!
