Linnea 02-05-2016 04:04 AM

and how fortunate! i have just finished my portion of a group project for mah schoooolin and now i have some time to chat but i have to shower tooooo but i watched some creepy videos on youtube and now i'm scared hahahaha

zeapear 02-05-2016 04:07 AM

Congrats on finishing your project! I'm proud of you my child!
Man, watching scary videos is never a good idea! [lol] You should probably go shower, but first here's a funny video to make you feel better:

Linnea 02-05-2016 04:17 AM

i can't help it, zeap! i was watching a video on the behavioral study from back in 1920 for my project. the experiment was "little albert" and these psychologists conditioned a baby to have a fear for white fuzzy things. than one link lead to another and another and i watched one about this creepy russian experiment about this gas that made these people stay awake and they did some terrible things (it was called the russian sleep experiment if you want to check it out) and then this one about creepy audio. not as creepy as the sleep experiment one, but still ooooky

i do think i'll take a quick shower though... and the ketchup video was... well... interesting haha

Woodlandnymph 02-05-2016 04:18 AM

Don't be scared! I'll come fight off the monsters

Linnea 02-05-2016 04:18 AM

hey guess what!?!?! you guys were talking about travel welllll this time next week i'll be in Aruba!

---------- Post added 02-04-2016 at 09:19 PM ----------

thanks, woodster. i might need a hero!

Woodlandnymph 02-05-2016 04:27 AM

The Russian sleep experiment one is a creepypasta internet urban legend though...I guess it's creepy...but nah.

OoooOOooOOoooooh! Yes! That's so awesome! How long? A week?

zeapear 02-05-2016 04:29 AM

Linn: I know about Little Albert! Man, back before a universal code of ethics psychology was pretty rubbish. :/
You know that the Russian Sleep Experiment isn't real, right? It's an internet campfire story, pretty much. It's just a creepypasta so you don't need to worry about that. :) I get spooked pretty easily so I might skip that one you linked, though. [lol]
I don't know why but I just find the comedy of the ketchup guys hilarious; all of their videos leave me in stitches and I don't know why!
Ooh, what are you doing in Aruba?

Oh Woody, you're so brave! [love]
EDIT: Yeah, the RSE creepypasta I felt kind of dropped the ball in the second half where it was all like 'blegh, we are you!!' and it was kind of just like 'okay... cool' [lol]

Woodlandnymph 02-05-2016 04:34 AM

Thanks Zeap! And I'll try and be your hero, Linny. No promises. I'm about 10 days short of that sleep experiment myself ;) ;)

zeapear 02-05-2016 04:37 AM

Haha, that doesn't sound good at all Woody! [lol] You should really go sleep before you start attempting to eat your colleagues.

Woodlandnymph 02-05-2016 04:45 AM

No one will miss them ;) ;) I actually should trundle off to bedforshire. I have no idea when my mattress delivery is coming tomorrow, and if I don't want to scare them...I should be up and about at a somewhat decent hour ;)

That last recording of the exorcism sounds like someone doing throat singing, Linny. If you're still here.

zeapear 02-05-2016 04:51 AM

Goodnight, Woody! You'd better try and get at least 40 winks before they arrive to avoid giving anyone a heart attack. [lol] Sleep well my sweet.

Linnea 02-05-2016 05:16 AM

i had never heard of it before but then i don't spend a lot of time on the internet so there ya go. one part at the end seemed pretty far-fetched but sure, i mean, it sounds crazy but crazier things have happened i'm sure

---------- Post added 02-04-2016 at 10:17 PM ----------

and i've heard some throat singing before and i don't think it does lol

Kat Dakuu 02-05-2016 04:40 PM

What are we talking about in here? Hope everyone is okay.

Woodlandnymph 02-06-2016 02:29 AM

No? I think it sounded vaguely like Tibetan throat singing. I can do it a little with my didgeridoo.

Thanks Zeap my dear! No heart attacks or self mutilation yet...so it's been a good day. Also, a snow day! It was 55 degrees here yesterday annnnd today we had 4 or 5 inches of snow. Oh New England. You so silly.

Hey Kat! Just some internet urban legends and some odd things that go bump in the night!

zeapear 02-06-2016 07:14 AM

Wow, Woody! That looks beautiful! I've only seen real snow three or four times in my life, and that's including times that I went to go visit snow fields up in the mountains specifically to see snow. :O
Is snow very inconvenient? From what I've seen/heard it can be super annoying. Do children in areas like yours where it snows still get excited or is it all kind of mundane to them?

Kat Dakuu 02-06-2016 03:58 PM

what's with all that snow?!!! It's pretty, but it looks horrible.

Linnea 02-06-2016 07:45 PM

we got about 9 inches here in maine (also new england but further north than woody) the kids like the snow for the most part because if he get enough of it than we don't have school... like yesterday! [boogie] so that was nice. zeap, i think it's a rather general consensus, even for kids, that it's all good until it just keeps snowing and there is no where to shovel/plow it any more. then the kids can't even really play outside without getting stuck or it gets all muddy and dirty and doesn't look pretty anymore.

so on my snow day i binge watched the vampire diaries and read manga hahaha then i went to a hockey game which didn't have a lot of people because of the storm aaaand they lost miserably. probably the worst game i've seen all season -_-

Kat Dakuu 02-06-2016 09:42 PM

if it snowed here, I would love a day off from work. Like if I couldn't make the drive. Wouldn't that be awesome?

Linnea 02-07-2016 03:47 PM

when i lived out west it was scary when it snowed because no one out there knows how to drive in it. at least here most people know, although you always have the idiots wherever you go

Kat Dakuu 02-07-2016 06:02 PM

Idiot is a human condition. No matter where you go, you still find it.

Linnea 02-07-2016 06:26 PM

well there ya go

Kat Dakuu 02-07-2016 11:31 PM

Feel free to quote me.
