Haha, I guess that is true Wings. Though I'm not adverse to listening to older music I think New Kids On The Block and the whole boy band movement in general flew right by me. We are but wee babes in comparison to the old geezers that are Linn and Woody
yeah I've heard of them but couldn't name a song.
yeah defintiely nsync.
though now for me boy bands is all kpop. cuz yeah. they took the boy band idea and did it better than we ever tried to.
Kat: I was too late for those as well. I think that Justin Bieber and One Direction were/are more my particular age range because I was respectively a tween and then young teen when those particular acts really came into focus, which I guess is the target demographic.
I've had an awful lot of embarrassing phases, but for whatever reason boy bands was never one of them.
The only 'NSYNC song I know is 'Bye Bye Bye' and that's mostly because we incorporated it into a flash mob last year haha!
Kat: Yeah, 'Bye Bye Bye' is honestly so iconic. It came out when me and most of my friends would have been two or three and yet I know so many people who still get bopping to it. Definitely one to reflect the musical scene of the late 90s/early 2000s in years to come.
they had some good stuff if you like the whole choreographed dancing and catching beats hahaha

i think my sister listened to them but she's closer to Woody and Linny's ages.
i was actually only 7 when they were really big and i was mad at my mom for not letting me, a seven year old, go to a concert hahaha she said i couldn't because she knew what happened at concerts after she went to a Poison concert. i thought and still think that Poison and NKOTB are on VERY different levels but whatever lol

N'sync and Backstreet Boys was more our gen.
well see, that was also my generation as well. they were big when i was ending middle school and into high school. it's all perspective
definitely kinda a crossover for when kat and i were kids and you were a teenager. but i think our teenager thing was not boy bands but punk pop bands like Fallout boy and MCR and P!ATD
i'm still baffled by fallout boy being back and like there's this new generation of teens being raised on them, but it's not the same songs. so weird to me

Why you little whipper snapper!!! I totally went to a Backstreet Boys AND Nsync concert when I was in 6/7th grade. Like a cool kid! I got over them really quick....but I still listen to the Nsync Christmas album ;) NKOTB was before my time. I was a wee little thing when they were popular.
To be fair, I made up for those concerts with a Meatloaf concert that same year.
