It's ok..I'm in New England and we barely had winter here...till it was spring. Then winter was like, oh hai!

Having fun with a job that gives me a load of down time. And of course getting the mule out (tbh changing accounts via mobile is tedious unless the mobile browser unlogs me on its own). XD

I miss the snow, not the ice though. The nights of quiet fluffy snow fall, the soft creaking of the trees in the cold, staring up into a sky of what looks like falling stars. *3* I miss that.

What's wrong with seasons now?! *throws up hands*

down time is pretty nice. I wouldn't mind some more this week since I'd been getting a fair amount there for a bit.
Snow looks nice and all, but cold is so boo.

I actually don't mind the cold as much, gives me reason to wear sweaters and scarves.

I've been watching concerts on YouTube and listening to podcasts at work. Easy to pause when I actually do have to do work. And the boss doesn't mind, all in all not a terrible job, just don't care for my co-worker, she's retiring this year and it shows.

I did miss my chance for scarves this winter. I own a lot and have no reason for them or my cute cap with the cat ears.

Fee collection at a park entrance. I don't mind full day or mid-shift, but late shift kinda creeps me out. Something about being alone with a bunch of money at the end of the day just makes me think I might get robbed. D:

Oh see. I love that with snow. But it's the clean up the next morning and horrible drives in bad conditions that leaves me miffed. Generally I don't have to work on snow days though. Thankfully.

If it's a park, I can imagine less than stellar security? I think you'd be fine though. I'd imagine places like that are over looked cause there isn't ever a lot of money like you'd find at a gas station. I hope they put money in a safe if you get over a certain amount. We did that when I worked retail.

I guess I don't think about stuff like that and my store has even been robbed since I started working there. I'm chill like that though.

It's a national park, so there's actually a lot of security. Especially since it's a border park, added border patrol agents as well as park law enforcement. But weekends they're generally busy with drunks down on the beach, leaving me alone at the entrance station. And no drop safe, everything in the drawer until the end on the day.

Last time it snowed here was over ten years ago. XD

A drop safe would help for sure. Drunks are no fun.

When it's just me I like to take one of the deposit bags and put excess money in that then put it out of sight. That way I don't have quite as much visible money in the drawer. But yes I would appreciate a drop safe, even if I had a key to access it later at the end of shift, the idea of I've just makes me feel better.

Why would they not have a drop safe. It's not good to have all the money in the drawer for an entire day.

I guess it's just not fancy enough.
