ah it's a paul stanley song, gotcha
and that would have been amazing to see you!
Ah, I'm digging myself an even deeper hole! It's actually an Ace Frehely song; I thought he was the main guy, sorry. Here's a link.
And yeah! While I was in the states I kept thinking about how cool it would have been to hang with you guys, but it wouldn't have been realistic, considering my schedule, the fact I was with family, and the lingering fear of stranger danger.

I dunno if you're still working on your avi now, but it looks great Kat!
Awwww! Uni! I miss school. Those exams will shake with fear when you're through with them!! I am jelly, I don't think Doctor Strange is out here yet...or it just came out? I dunno. This week has been a blur. Things are goooood. Crazy balanced by good things. On Halloween my boyfriend totally proposed to me! *all the squees*

and i hear ya about stranger danger haha i mean, i know Facade thought that when he met me and i drove across the state to woody's house for a hobo themed party gosh that was a crazy fun night!
oh and because the event is over, i'll ping you to this so you see it eventually zeapear:

Haha yeah, I just had my first exam for this semester today. I was shaking when I came out of it. What did you study for uni?
And yeah, for some reason Marvel releases here a little earlier than the US, which is a pleasant deviation from normal if I'm honest. I think it came out for you guys today-ish? Either way, it was very enjoyable and the visual effects were stunning. I'm actually seeing it a second time tonight for a friend's birthday party!
Also, CONGRATULATIONS! THAT'S SO EXCITING! I'm actually so happy for you, Woody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See, I know nothing about KISS when it comes down to it. I shall defer to you for all future enquiries.
And yeah, it's not that I don't trust you guys, because it'd be a lot of effort to keep up the act for this long, but there's still always that niggling worry, haha. Maybe in an ideal future when I'm independent and have enough money to travel, eh?
ALSO: sorry I wasn't super active this event, guys! I tend to just lurk unless it's the official event hangout or a Sprinkles thread because everywhere else I feel a little out-of-the-loop. If you guys do something for FoWN you can count on me being there, and there's also a good chance I'll be more active from now on because I am completely free after my next two exams.
Fooool--Yeah I totally missed the entire event aside from like one day. Womp womp. I had quite the busy weekend. I miss all the old gang hanging out and doing event fun.

Oh jeez. What was the subject? You know, no matter what it's good feeling nervous about an exam. Always means you did better than you thought! It's a rule. I studied Literature and History...Mostly Anglocentric focusing on different time periods like anglo-saxon, then skipping to Tudor-Charles II, then again skipping and focusing on Regency through Edwardian. I was kinda all over the place with other stuff though. Just love learning. I wish I did something more practical, but I did love my topics ;) What is your focus?
Ooh great! I know what movie I'm seeing this weekend!!
Thanks!!! Ahhhhh I'm super duper excited. Wanna see the ring? He commissioned my brother to make it for me (he's a gold smith) . So it's one of a kind.

SPOILERX
That particular exam was my primary psych class, and my overall degree is psych with honours. I've also dabbled in anthropology (would recommend), biology (surprisingly fun), sociology (would not recommend), and criminology (mixed bag) with my free electives. My favourite classes so far have been, surprisingly enough, the human biology course I did semester one and anthropology, which I've done for both semesters.
Ah, that sounds really interesting actually! I loved doing history in high school, but it was sadly never something I wanted to pursue further. I have a friend who's continuing doing it though; I think she's focusing on ancient? She's training to become a teacher.
Yeah, I'd recommend seeing it! Also, there are two after-credits scenes, so stick around until the end.
Aaaaaa that's beautiful!! And it's so sweet that your brother made it!!!! It looks like something you'd wear~!!
Awesome! Hey, I work for a psychologist. Great career! And yes to anthro and any sciences! I used to tutor writing and biology at my first college. :D Man. I want to be in school ( I say that now, but when all the papers are due.....)
I honestly love most topics and classes. Then we get to math and I'm all like. Ahhhh look at the time. I've gotta go.
DARN! I wish I saw this earlier! I missed the last after credit scene! Ahhh double darn. I should have known or looked it up before leaving.
Thanks! I am super thrilled with it. Suits me cause it's strong and thick (the band) but feminine and classy...and Elvish. Totally elvish.
Yeah, I'm not sure exactly what I want to do with my psych degree (here's hoping I finish it), but I just really want to be able to help people. :) it's so cool you work for a psychologist! And yeah, I think you always want whatever it is you're not doing Like, uni is fun but also super stressful.
I'm actually surprisingly on board with maths; I've discovered that when it isn't just in a vacuum but rather is in relation to the real world I don't mind it so much? Uni has surprised me a little with what I've been enjoying, to be honest.
Aaaaah, sorry! D: You'll probably be able to find it online after a while?
Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking when you posted it! It's like a little piece of you made into jewellery, y'know?
A psychologist and a psychiatrist. It's a fun household. :D
I know it's stressful, I just like learning. :D Stressful but fun. All the people, all the events...all the homework. ;)
Ahhhhh I only like maths when they are hooked up with science. Makes it palatable for me. I mean I aced the math classes I did take, but I certainly didn't enjoy em.
Probably. And I bet my dad will make me go see it with him. :P
:3 I am still in the gushing oversharing excited phase... you know, since it happened a few days ago. Linny lumpkins is totally gonna be one of my bridesmaids too. And I agree. I mean, with my user name and all. Straight outta the woods. My brother knows me pretty well.
Haha, that sounds like a setup for a sitcom right there!
Yeah, learning is exciting, it's just the assessment that I don't like. Sometimes I feel like I'm not doing it right, though, because I have been to exactly one party, and even then I left super early be he everyone was getting drunk, lol. Even though the legal drinking age in Australia is 18 I still haven't gone drinking and I don't plan on it, which throws a bit of a spanner in the works for socialising, haha.
And yeah, I think you've pretty much just summed up my relationship with maths.
Yeah, watching it a second time would probably be good! I've seen it twice now, after all.
Aaah, but the gushing phase is so exciting! That's so excitingly that Linn's gonna be a bridesmaid! You should totally Skype me in as a flower girl. ;) Do you have any idea of a date yet?
They're also a gay couple, living with a blended family of natural and adopted children. I love them so. One is a professor at the local uni and the other, she has her own private practice.
Hey, they aren't having the best of fun if they're always getting drunk just to socialize. You've got the right idea. :D I stuck with a lot of smaller parties and friend gatherings. We always ended up doing themed things.
Hahaha. I can have someone hold a computer and walk you down the isle. The throwing flowers part will be tricky though. Ah, we want fall and he'd like a short engagement, so if next autumn doesn't work, it'd be spring after. It's kinda tricky since my dad is sick. So, I can't wait too long if I want him involved.
Aw, that sounds lovely! They sound like a wonderful couple. :)
And yeah, that's my philosophy as well. I still have my high school friends who are also largely non-drinkiners and some friends I've made who are doing the same degree as me, but it just sometimes sucks a little when the vast majority of social events available at uni are centered around drinking. Like, I'd really enjoy just a board game night or a themed, relatively sober party, y'know?
Haha, just hook me up to a fan or something and we can pretend I'm blowing the flowers down the aisle. And Autumn weddings are lovely! My sister is getting married in the (Australian) Autumn next year, and I'm gonna be a ring bearer!! And I'm sorry to hear about your dad. :( Are you planning on having a big ceremony, or something small?
My plan for FoWN is the Northpole set in the Game of Thrones universe.
that sounds amazing!!

in regards to kiss, no worries and let's all hope for an ideal future then!
i think that will depend on what i decide to do for it, i mean the mods are required to, but that's when i do most of my duties... heh dooooties. i would definitely like to do that though!
also i like the layering on your avi. it's very pretty
Well you can be a sorta... not as active co-host? I mean like, I'll take care of most of it, but you can help out, can maybe uh.. I don't know have a game or something. Whatever.
We don't need much, all I know is going to be a lot of GoT references and puns, and stupid stuff like I usually have. ^^

Also, thankies.
I'm not sure I'm happy with it, but I've nothing else to add. XD
