This weekend we have to figure out what we're going to do about a vehicle for me. The van I had went all to fuck, basically, and we don't know what it will take to fix it, or if we should give up on it, but then we'd need to either manage without me having a vehicle, or coming up with $600, for a new one someone we know is selling.

Morning all. Going to spend today with mom. It's her birthday. Tomorrow is Sunday School, church, and four hours of worki.

I'm sure we'll manage, it's just annoying because we just spent like... $800+ on the other vehicle. It's stupid. Cars are stupid.

i actually really love cars, and vehicles in general. what sucks is that they cost so much to build/repair/upkeep and all that. something that is a necessity for most people shouldn't cost so much

yea that is pretty annoying :/ sorry it didn't work out. at least you checked it out first before spending the 800 for something that's shitty. it's funny because in reality i don't go very many places but when my car shit the bed last weekend i felt so trapped, when in reality i don't go out often at all, just work mostly lol it's all about the option; having the option to leave if i wanted!

well hopefully it won't be for very long and there are many families that have one vehicle and find a way to make it work. you can do eeeet

ah well that's all you'd really need it for anyways right?? that's what my cousin and i did when the first pokemon gameboy games came out, the red and blue. i had the red and he the blue (or maybe the other way around, but i digress). we just swapped games for a spell or traded with the linker cables. but that was old school gameboy, back before it was even color haha

and i'm not up to much different lol i just finished up my work for the week. got holiday stuff going on for thursday as it's thanksgiving here and my brother's birthday was today so my mom is having some cake for him tomorrow (wednesday). i am trying to plan some stuff for the FOWN and i also have school work i should consider doing sooner rather than later for next week. got another paper. i have to write my own functional behavior assessment on a behavior of my own that i made a reinforcement plan for. it's kind of interesting but the paper writing is a bit eeeeeeh haha

nah it's not too personal at all. i made a reinforcement plan to reduce my recreational screen time (games on phone, computer time, movies and the like) so that i can do more of the other things that i enjoy like outside or crafts and painting, reading and so on. i find i do less and less of it. other people in the class chose things like nail biting or driving erratically lol but i really want mine to be something i am invested in actually changing!

it's great you had such a wonderful first comic fair experience! and you can always dress up next time!

and in regards to the hair and make up thing, i completely hear your frustrations. a few years ago i was invited to a friend's wedding and i had nothing to wear, i don't do things with my hair or makeup so i was at a loss. Woodlandnymph: actually helped me pick out a dress and it was great! then i watched a one of Michelle Phan's youtube tutorials i think it was this one: autumn something or other and i didn't do it exactly, i just took some of the eye shadow and mascara tricks. i also don't have any of the stuff she had lol so i improvised greatly. she has a lot more stuff that is newer than this video too and she titles the videos by the occasion or look so it's easy to sift through. as for the hair, i bought a big flowery hair clip, made a low (like at the bottom/behind my ear) side pony/messy bun and slapped the pin over it hahaha it worked out and no one was the wiser! good luck! let me know what you decide to do! oh and since i already pinged woody to this convo, she might have some good ideas as she does makeup a lot!
