Uh, I dunno if this counts as thread necromancy or what, but howdy gang!

I figured I'd come back to hang with the gang, especially with the impending Spring event and whatnot. It makes me so sad to see how dead Sprinkles has been, though I guess I haven't really been doing much to remedy it myself.

How is everyone? Anyone doing anything interesting recently?

Man, I can relate to putting off homework. I'm actually at uni write now as I type this, lol, and I have a biology workshop in an hour where I'm going to need to work on my group project on infectious diseases. :P

Ooooo infectious diseases. Sounds delightful lol but I always was a fan of biology though. Good luck on the group project! Gosh it's so funny to see you say that you are at uni. I remember you being 11 haha time flies!

I was putting off these modules for my behavioral class, they are all behavioral at this point honestly but different facets of behavior, this class is more on interventions to shape and reinforce appropriate behaviors. Anyways, the modules are like quizzes and we have to get all right and if we don't, we have to take it over until we do. It's frustratinggggg because I usually have to take each one at least twice lol last week we had to do 14 modules and I only did 4 >.> I hate themmmmm

Yeah, infectious diseases can be a lot of fun but also absolutely disgusting. Our group is presenting on past and present efforts in eradicating and eliminating human infectious diseases, and I'm focusing specifically on Guinea worm disease. Luckily we've almost eradicated it (only 25 human cases in 2016 as compared to 3.5 million in 1986!!), but it's also very, very gross and distressing. I'd recommend not looking at images if you google it.

Ah, fair enough. It's good that it lets you do them again, but also super frustrating that you have to get them all right. D: How much longer are you needing to do these courses for, if you don't mind me asking?

Also, I've decided to ditch my small font because I realise that it's probably quite hard to read. I'll definitely keep the grey colour, though. It feels weird doing it like this.

well there are a certain number of modules per class, like last week i only had to do 5, and this week i have to do 4 but i have a paper to write. i have 3 more classes left and then i am done. my expected graduation date is in january. when is yours?

I don't know the specifics but I should finish my undergrad late 2019, and then I'm likely gonna keep going into postgrad and honours because I'd like to become a practicing clinical psychologist. I've got a heckin' long way to go, but hopefully I'll gt through it lol.

And yeah, I'm gonna be at uni for a while... But thank you!! I really want to be able to help people, and at the moment this looks like a really good avenue to do that. I may end up as Dr. Zea, who knows!! It's strange; my brother's a Doctor as well (computer science), so we may end up with two non-medical doctors in the family in a few years time.
