Sounds like what I was wishing for. Something that would pull my lower back to where I wanted it to be. But nah, I was just stretching.

i saw some thing from Laurie Geller or something,
it is like a back stretcher you place on your thighs
and then you just push your hands on it and stretch

My sternum is still healing...the thought of stretching brings about thoughts of painfulness!
Before the surgery, though, I would welcome thoughts of stretching...I used to go for physical therapy where they would hook me up to a traction machine and I would be in bliss!

Oof. That's quite a surgery it sounds like.
