Our backstory is that we are actors and the play or movie that we are in is about pirates. We are preforming when the virus outbreak happens turning some of the actors into the zombies.



As you can see we are playing around to see about adding curtains and lights and such.

For Fire's Avatar...I do NOT understand the key lock heart thing on the head. I get that you want balance up there but it just stands out like no tomorrow. To get silver up there, find a way to incorporate it without it looking like it doesn't belong. Try silver eyes instead. Or even try a grey headband that will layer under the hat and peek out a bit. Although I don't think there is any silver/grey on the bottom of the avatar. So maybe, instead, remove the heart lock thing and the silver belt in the middle and go for a different color belt that already matches the color scheme instead like a white belt.

For BBR's avvie - I just want to say it makes me happy you are using those pants and the crate...*love seeing people use things that I make* I think if you had a bit more of the blue around the neck, it would be a better balance. The blue is a lot in the middle/bottom and at the top with the feather thing. I don't know if there is a thicker blue necklace that would fit into the pirate theme or not. As for the curtains - I get the theatre aspect of it. But I'm not sure I like that your curtains are blue and Fire's are purple. It would be cool if Fire kept hers...you did just the top in the middle in purple...and the third avatar had the opposite of fire's in purple...that way it looks like a long, continuous curtain...and you were all on the same stage.

For the last avatar - I don't know who the third person is so I'll just say last avatar or third person - I'm sorry! (EDIT - just backtracked - I see it's Asca!!) *doesn't know who ended up in what group*. I feel like this is the one that fits in the least right now...probably because there is no blood on the floor or curtain up top. The blue from the shirt and the blue from the belt thing don't match at all. I know a lot of people are straying from matching avatars...but I know, at least, that Seiki loves matching...so I would keep that in mind. Also - since the sword is different while the other two use the same sword...it sticks out. MAYBE...have the survivor use one sword while the zombies use the same...that way they are similar because they are both zombies? I also think the shoes look a bit out of place - sneakers in a pirate/zombie fight.

But I like the continuity you guys are beginning to have...the same hat, same sash, same background. Fix the curtains to make it look like a stage? Overall your theme is very present and your avatars are looking very cohesive! Nice job!

EDIT: Food for thought - maybe one of you utilize an eye patch so it gives you some extra personality...that way you don't look TOOOO much the same?

For the swords - if you want to use the more elaborate sword for all - maybe fire can have the one with the red sash attached to differentiate between hero and zombie? Or use guns for some avvies instead?

Also - maybe give FIre some blood too - since the zombies are bloodied...they had to get the blood somewhere....

PSS - if you want lights that layer OVER the curtain - I just checked the DAC...the lights from the VJ CI layered over the curtain with the exception of the blue ones you are using now - so try the others ones! XD AND the lights from the rocking out rock star layer over the curtains as well.

I agree with the swords, that the zombies should have the same and I should have different. That'll match well if we go with Asca's suggestion of the two zombie pirates attacking their human captain

Don't worry about buying the sword yet, because either BBR will have the same one you do, or you can ghost the sword we have from my Pirates Booty CI

What if I did the silver wadjet makeup and some grey/silver socks?
None of the other belts look right. The white, black and blue doubled belt make it look like too much of that color in one area

Fire - if you are looking for belts - try the mod belt in white or sapphire (has the color white or blue then with black accents that would also match your avvie)...or the white cumberbund...or the shroud cloth belt (skinny white belt with a bit hanging down)...or the psion geode belt (has both white and blue)...or the white belted pouch.

I just still think that grey belt pops out too much and the silver eyeshadow doesn't match.

or even try the pirate mod belt

Hmm - I WISH we had more pirate items so you could balance the pirate in the pants..but I don't think there is a way to do that at this time....unless you tried the fishnet sleeves in pirate? I'm hoping it would layer UNDER the things you currently have on your arms - if not...forget I said anything about them XD

I think that, once you guys are done with your individual avvies, just put them together to form a picture and decide what kind of lighting you wants, background props are cohesive, etc. But that's a group thing...so it'll have to wait until you are all done!

But I like yours a lot :D

Actually I'm actually really pleased with it!

Like I told BBR - once all your groupmates are done...put them together to determine what lighting you guys will use..but you guys are really coming along!!

For you...I don't think I would over do the blood - maybe just one smear on the face or something?
